James 3:1- the tongue's power to control the direction of life, don't talk failure, death, poverty ... Only speak blessings, speak only good "If you say so it will be so". Don't be tempted to talk death, failure, ill health, poverty is don't yield to the dvl "Don't give place to the dvl" The dvl needs you to say it in order to do it. Also God requires us to speak words of faith in Him, He also needs us to say it in order to do it. Confess it and possess it. Mark 11:23 Proverbs 18:20 Proverbs 18:21 Psalm 12:1 - 4 "Our lips are our own" - rebellion against God. Submit your tongue to Lord Jesus, you don't get to say just what you want/feel like saying. Romans 6 - 10 "confess with your mouth Lord Jesus and you shall be saved ... " Notice the full meaning of salvation. Confess the positive. Psalm 33:6 - 9 "By the word of Lord the ... " because we are made in the likened(similitude) of God we operate in the same way as He, whether we know it or not. "When God speaks it happens every time". Spiritual people speak to accomplish a thing, not to vent their emotions. Ephesians 5:1 "Be imitators of God ..." Purposely operate like God, like Him through our spoken word. I need some help with this. My friend says that God kills people. That he's already decided what day you will die and when that day comes he will make sure you die. Help me please. She points out that God killed Ananias and Sapphira, therefore he kills people. That when someone dies it's just their time. I said that Jesus changed that. You say we control that by what we speak. This is so important to me. I need a scripture that refutes that!
