Thanks so much for introducing me to this song! Great video too. Personally not shipper on this show but it would have been nice to see more interaction between the Paladins. Pidge and Keith actually have a common ground, they were both outcasts in school. Pidge tried to share her knowledge hoping someone would engage with her but got shunned and ridiculed. Keith had his own social blocks due to feeling abandoned by his mom as a baby and then in a way by his dad when he died saving people from a fire. In his Vlog Diary he admits that he won't engage with people so they don't have a chance to hurt him. I think Pidge would share her experience being ostracized as a way to reach out to Keith. She knows what that loneliness feels like. She also knows what it's like to latch onto someone as a sole best friend, (her brother, Matt) so she understands Keith's relationship with Shiro. She advises that when you put everything into one person, and they disappear, or leave your life, your foundation crumbles. She encourages him to not be afraid of the other Paladins, that it's okay for him to engage with them. They won't mock him for his struggles. Or if Lance does, just ignore him. (i don't think he would though. Lance understands distance and missing the family you love.)
