It’s a Stones song, just penned by John and Paul in support of the group. The Ringo-lead came out a few weeks later, intentionally. The duo did that a few other times on their other compositions. Paul gave Aretha Franklin the chance to release Let it Be first, but she held onto it.

The drummer is really great on the fills ... super energetic, but it feels like he is a slight bit behind in pushing the song forward with the regular beat.
