I would like to Dedicate this song to my wife Leslie Kieltyka as we begin the Cancer battle. Leslie was diagnosed Monday with Breast Cancer she beat it fourteen years ago. It has returned and is in her liver, lung. spine as well as her breast. I know no amount of pleading with God will make me fight this battle for her, At this point I'm reduced making smoothies for her drink. Please keep Leslie in your prayers.

My wife loves this song. She's a true fighter. She's had kidney failure twice, liver failure once, and been sepsis 7 times in 3 years. She's 56 now and still going strong. I won't let her fall and we're both hanging on. I died in the E R complications with pneumonia and concussion. I'm 53 and we're always by each other's side. I mean really marriage vow says in sickness and in health. We promised to always love and support each other and never let go. The Baxter Family

Oh I'm really sorry for that... I'm divorced for 11 years now by decision but I'm glad I've been able to move on from it... My wife was the love of my life... She suffered a traumatic brain injury 2013 and ended up not remembering raising our family with me or being married ... She recently married a man tho. Everyone thinks that she can be fixed. @@Halpin2006 No, actually both Keith and Carrie said there was a budget. The problem was time, Carrie was on tour at the time, this song came out and it turned into a blockbuster hit. Keith and Carrie made this video in about 4 hours. And Keith played his guitar and Carrie did her dancing freelance. Busbee, Keith's late friend and director told Carrie to do the dance part the way she wanted to do. So, Carrie did exactly that.

Keith should've promoted this as a "pop" single. It would've been a huge, monstrous hit. If you really listen to the tune, there's nothing "Country" about it aside from the two stars. But I know Nashville is very touchy about their artists going "Pop". I don't listen to Country music, but had to buy Keith's "Ripcord" CD. One of the best albums I've heard in recent years.

Both should have respect for each of their own strengths and weaknesses and support of each as well. What's happened over the years is when men or women make fun of the other for their differences (in a mean or condescending way) and it just shouldn't be this way. I've been married over 30 years and my husband and I tease each other over silly differences, but truly have fun with it - we're not mean about. As both Keith and Carrie point out that young dancer was so good. Keith decided she needed to be included in the video. Keith wasn't actually going to release this song as a single. What changed Keith's mind was simple. Carrie's fans heard Keith was doing this song with Carrie. And Carrie's fans started to request this song on the radio. And simply changed Keith's mind.
