I love this hairstyle! Maybe try black bobby pins instead and try making the hair pieces a “halo” that meets in the back over your bun. Me and my husband had the same thoughts about our wedding. Honestly, going smaller and intimate was the best decision and we don’t regret it at all. ❤

I love this bun - LOVE it. I'm glad the clip and net worked (you can practice how to wrap but the clip will cover it). You're going to kill me. I suggested the second clip but I think you can get a 3rd and have it connected over that will cover the pins used for the swoop. The veil is nice but you won't keep it on all day so you'll get the effect of the veil for the ceremony then BAM hit them with the decorated bun. At the end of the day your happiness and smile will be your best accessory.

I am team no veil so that you can see the detail of the brooch. This style is super pretty! The only thing I would change is to use black pins so that they blend into your swoop.

Girl beautiful locs. On your wedding day you should have help with face, hair, nails and the like. That hair net really does a bun good. I have been using one for the last two years and I have only been loc'd for three years. No veil your beautiful face and hair must be seen by all, especially the groom. Congratulations. If you do, do a veil you can probably tuck it underneath the bun. That way you don't hide the hair embellishments. Just noticed the bun is off to the side, so you may need to play with it a little. Love your channel and your locs!

This looks so good! it gives me hope for when I (eventually) get married with locs. I use to work at a bridal store and tucking the veil under the bun was my favorite trick to show brides, it's such a pretty underrated look!

alright, now! this one here is fire! it's balanced - one side has the deep part, and the other has the ornament, so in your photos, any angle will be gorgeous. i can see this look in a sepia or B&W close-up shot. it shows the versatility of locs, too. they can do tame, romantic, subdued and sexy with the best of 'em. also, a super hold hairspray can be backup hold on your swoop. thanks for sharing! 😉

Very professional. My hair was shoulder length with a good amount of relaxer still in it. So the braids were a better choice for me instead of twist

So far I’m loving style #2!! I just wish the veil allowed you to see more of the bun. Etsy has “ponytail veils” that you could put around your bun and it hangs around it so you can still see it!

Hair and hairstyle is fire, but the veil don't look good, looks a bit cheap. If you do wear it you need to put it a little higher up, but I do think you look better without it. Maybe consider a white fascinator with a net or veil? although it might be too busy, with other hair accessories or hide the stuff that you want shown. I like the 2nd hairstyle more than the first, put those hair pins would sit well in the 1st hairstyle in the twists. Looking forward to part lll

I like this one better, but the bobby pins need to go. They take away from the style. They are for sticking into the bun. You could use thread to sew your swoop together. Take the needle and go through each loc to sew them together. This way, the loc stays together without seeing the bobby pins sticking up through your hair, and your color will show without interference from the bobby pins. It is a suggestion, and it's the hairstylist in me.
