If someone can understand his creative thought process like me. The reason this wouldnt fit in the nightmares or the dreamWalker album because the nightmares ep was an experiemental sound not a permanent thing and the dreamwalker album is a permanent sound and more familiar sound he has had the last album or 2 in angels and airwaves and even in most of his EP's. Now the proboem with this song filling in for the dreamwalker album is the entire album in itself is his best piece of work and his darkest in angels and airwaves. Its sounds so much like as if blink translated the self titled album into angels and airwaves dream walker album, amd this song has more of an uplifting less, synth, less guitars, less dark moods, less complex parts, and to inderstand these reasons if your a real TOM fan then you'll know that he likes to challenge himself so this song i can tell was not that challenging for him especially the way it turned out. In the beginning it had a good sound but i was hoping in the chorus he would go darker with synth but no he got higher in pitch and he went off key too much so he hinself didnt like that part i know for a fact. Cause i for sure with a great ear didn't like it either. It sounded off pitch and high asf. So in conclusion he didn't put it on the album because it had a less complex structure than the rest of the songs and it didn't match the overall tone of the album and ofc wasn't satisfied with the actual sound of it.
