I have to admit that when I got my Hi-Point 995TS. I was thinking about the Kel Tech sub 2000. I'm happy with the PCC I got but I do like the upgrades they put into the Gen 3. Thanks for the video and keep shooting my friend.

I run mine with basic AR foldover BUIS. I like getting down low on a rifle (trained with the M-14 at Parris Island) and at short ranges my Gen 3 is turning out to be remarkably accurate, which is something I prize over anything else in a firearm. I have it zeroed in at 15 yards for home defense, and if I run the target out to 25 yards I do a "pumpkin on a fencepost" hold since the bullet is still rising. I've been buying and swapping guns for 50 years, own 19 right now because twenty is obscene, and I swear my Gen 3 Sub 2000 is the only gun I'll ever need. I want to take it turkey hunting!

Really liking my Gen III. Installed a linear comp on muzzle, QD pic rail riser for red dot (eye alignment practically instantaneous, zero cheek smushing😊),a set of 45° offset iron sights (right side), a QD sling mount (left side)that I had to take its height down a little with rat tail file so stow latch would lock into m-lock, a collapsible pistol grip on forend. Lazer cut texture grip wrap & MCARBO tube cover. KCI 60 round drum fits well but is not for PCC's (pistol length stem).

Great video! My Gen 2 has the polyurethane buffer ring, softer flat butt-pad, nice compensator, soft tube slip on cover, angled foregrip, mlok sling mount, mlok Flashlight, a flip out magnifier mount, with a red-dot instead of magnifier, cheap sling. About $200 in on the upgrades, got it for 700 rounds of wolf 7.62x39 lol. For a 40 s&w Carbine it is a SOFT shooter. With the upgrades of course. All generic cheap upgrades but all work great lol. What editing app or software are you using, exceptional job on the edits! Im about $500 in at today's ammo prices, worth it

There's nothing wrong with a cheap rig if it works. Sounds like you got a good trade. 👍 So the app I use for the majority of the editing is called VivaVideo. Here's a link to it on the Google play store: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.quvideo.xiaoying you pretty much have to go with the full license subscription to do any quality editing. I am confident there are better options available but I've gotten good enough at using this one that I'll probably stick with it. I also use some of the basic Windows based functions, and Canva in addition to VivaVideo. Canva is my go to for creating the video thumbnail posters. Thanks for watching 👍

I think they should have gone the route of the S&W side folding design to accommodate optics ...🤷‍♂️

Does the Gen 3 still have the plastic feed ramp or did they improve and replace it with a steel version?

The feed ramp is still a polymer apparatus on the Gen 3. I would guess that the stainless steel offering from MCARBO designed for the Gen 2 would probably work, but that is just a guess! Thanks for watching 👍
