Touring is a reach… Yes she still performs at festivals and random clubs. The videos are available and the performances are messy and lack luster. I don't think at this point in time Any artist is original anymore It's all been done Most artists have influences from someone else You never hear People saying JHud is basically a Aretha Franklin and low energy Patti Labelle even though its true Beyonce has never said she is original either its people who put that stuff on her And Beyonce uses writers camps now, she doesn't really have to write all her stuff What are however does is plan out her shows incredibly well, she is very gifted as a visual artist and knows how to coordinate people beyond singing And gathers multiple songwriters to write songs for her she adjusts too So if people have a problem with her boring ideas they should also attack those singers she uses but they don't because she is the easy target

Her and Pharrell wrote it together as a demo for Britney with kelis as the primary writer. When it was rejected kelis fought for it to be apart of her album which is why milkshake really didn’t match the rest of the album imo. Her/pharrell manager rob did just that robbed her of writing credits due to a contract she signed at 17.

For the first time Kelis was credited for her song, by Beyoncé. Weird, that she was sooo triggered by that interpolation and yet I know that wasn't the first time milkshake was sampled.

You have to keep in mind, even though she created it, she did not fund it or invest in it, so if she was to experience failure she was not going to be the one to lose, the ones that invested would have experienced the monetary loss. using the other side of the argument , if the song had failed she woud have to pay a penalty for the loss and would profit off of if the song had done well
