Saving up for the top coaches makes no sense. I spent points on coaches the whole way, when I got Ben Davidson I could only rank up 2 stats to max A tier, with Points left over. I think best way is to get a perk to lock in for $1 milli on B tier coach, then use a A tier coach with 2 good perks you like.
