I think I'm with Kevin on the chocolate because if I were expecting Boston Cream I'd really want to taste the two distinct flavors .

For me, the pop tart review videos are the best! I first found you (Tami) when I had two separate friends visiting from Europe (UK and Germany) and both of them HAD to have the poptars when they were here and that's how we found you!

I went to my local giant today and I brought the eggo one and I love it it's delicious especially with a cold glass of milk and I heated mines up in the toaster and it does take some of that maple away

Just found your channel. Loved the review! I haven’t had pop tarts in a while. I used to get them all the time. I also loved the peanut butter chocolate ones when they came out. My favorite general flavor is still the chocolate chip. It’s sweet without being too much. The blueberry muffin ones were good too when they were out ages ago.

When I saw that these were coming out, I was really excited about the Maple Eggo Waffle because the Maple Bacon Pop Tarts were one of my favorite Pop Tarts. I am very impressed that the Boston Creme Donut is as delicious as you are both saying. Actually, I am impressed that both are worth getting because my expectations for Kelloggs Pop Tarts are low considering that generic ones are softer, have more filling inside, and more frosting on the outside.

I think this Eggo collab is a much better product than the Froot Loop pop-tarts.. Can't wait to hear how the apple fritter one is when you find it!

@@TamiDunn just found them at the store last night and I agree with you, they do not disappoint!!! They literally are probably less calories and equally as "mmmm yum!" Even though....donuts are fabulous, I appreciate the healthier version!

I stopped buying Kelloggs because of the labor strikes. There is a factory here in Pennsylvania that was affected. Anyway, they finally came to an agreement, so I guess I'll have to try these now. I really do love Pop Tarts.

Went looking for the boston creme donuts today at 2 giants and 2 walmart, the shelf was completely empty of them. They did have tags saying they should be there. Clearly either popular or in low supply here.

Thanks for the review; I ended up not liking the boston cream. I normally like pop-tarts and boston cream but I found the custard flavour to be excessive. I bought a big package which I now regret, so I recommend trying the smaller pack to see if you like it.

My all time favorite poptart is the hot fudge sundae.. hoping Kroger will carry the Boston Creme soon

Yeah I the hot fudge sundae is my favorite too. But their is one that I liked even better than that, and that was the Mint chocolate chip. I wish they would bring that back. I think the Boston creme will be up there with my favorites. I like the Eggo one a lot too.

@@Lee_uh I actually tried the Boston creme donut ones. They are pretty good. Probably my new favorite pop tart, or a tie with the hot fudge sundae. Yeah the mint chocolate chip wasn't around long. Only from 2006- 2008.

Good news I found the Boston cream and apple fritter at Kroger .the Boston cream is awesome.the apple is good but the apple taste was not strong to me.

I would probably prefer the eggo waffle flavor without maple...😷 I put peanut butter on them...😋 Especially the blueberry 😱

Have you tried the Eggo pop tarts in the toaster, just like you would have warm waffles from the toaster? I did once & put syrup on them. It wasn't bad, but I don't think I'll do it again. I feel like some pop tarts need to be toasted, like Smore's for obvious reasons & Hot Fudge Sundae so that it's literally hot fudge.

Tami, you must be referring to the gone nutty pop tarts. I loved those because i like chocolate & peanut butter... together. The Egg pop tarts are now my favorite. What are your favorites? I agree that the icing should be covering the whole pop tart. They're a big company & i see no reason for them not to do this.

@@TamiDunn Oh, you should google it, cause it is so relevant to the stuff you review. Many big cereal influencers have boycotted since they aren't treating workers well and several have notice dangerous defects popping up since scab workers have taken over. BUt it's unclear what the ethical thing to do is at this point.

This was promoted in pop-tarts ads sometime in the 2000s with their chocolate chip pop-tart. It's pretty good.

Has anyone had the Boston Cream without any filling? I opened a box and the first sleeve had literally no filling. Based on the price I paid for these i am hoping I didn't get a dud box.

@@TamiDunn Problem is I bought them from a flea market that's in a different city. The gas there and back is more than the refund if they were willing to give me one. The second sleeve is the same as the first. I might contact the company and complain. My Aunt back in the 80's complained to Kellogg's that there was not raisins in her Raisin Bran and she received 1 free family size box each week for a year.
