@@Zivakoi It is not Demi's version. This is a Demi Lovato's song. And yes, you're right, Demi's eecution is way better than this cold, low tone execution. Clarkson does not hit the same high notes as Demi, and the emotion she pulls in the song is zero, in my opinion. Clarkson covers this song as if she is talking about weather or the last book she read. Bah...

As a singular performance, this is immaculate, but hear me out, Kelly's voice is very warm and husky, which makes her kinda incompatible for this song. Because Demi wrote this song when she was struggling with addictions, and her 2020 Grammy's performance set the bar for this song so high, that I just couldn't tear up the way Demi made me when I heard her at the grammys as compared to when I am listening to Kelly's version right now. Don't get me wrong, Kelly's version sounds like the best cover out there, but the message and the emotions that this song is supposed to convey, can only be done by Miss Demetria Devonne Lovato. And if you guys haven't come across Demi's grammy performance of Anyone, then boy oh boy the experience that you're missing out is enormous.

I love Kelly’s cover of this song. Demi wrote the lyrics to bring her pain and struggle to light. Her version is a testament. We’ Ani sang this song on American Idol. She was fabulous as well. This is not a case of who does it better, this song adapts to the person singing it by bringing the inner conflict out. The song is amazing! Well written and well done!

Kelly is one of my favorite singers, but when Demi sings this I feel every single emotion in my core. No one will ever sing this like Demi Lovato. This was the first time ever in all of Kelly's singing years I felt this way, but some songs truly are best for the artist who sang the song. When Demi sings it's like everyone in the audience doesn't move they're that glued to her performance. Demi Lovato please make more music for us. In the end if I had to choose in person I'd choose Demi's cover of this hands down. ❤❤❤
