BECAUSE OF YOU...
This piece is pretty special to me. I shot the entire recording session for DUETS, along with some interviews, and put this together. Remember, what you see of reba and Kelly in the studio, is the actual footage from the recording.
In addition to this piece, I had the honor to work with Don Henly, Carole King, Kelly Clarkson, Faith, Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Vince Gill and Trisha. For each session, I put together these short segments, and CMT put them all together and made a show of it.
Kelly Clarkson rocks. I have enjoyed working with her so much. She is the real deal.

normally this is NOT my kind of music. but you CANNOT deny this kind of power. this is a song that makes you feel, and both of these women have voices that just...hit you like a ton of damn bricks. its like.....shit man...this is amazing

I'm honored to get to see Reba in concert in 4 days. Her voice is so powerful. Kelly is also very amazing. They make the best pair ever in the whole music production buisness. Both very inspirational people. I think they need to tour more again together.

Thanks for this great collaboration. Duo. Both songs make me cry. When I sing them I feel emotion. I lost my little brother recently and passion for music is a healing tool. I love you Reba n Kelly. I read Reba's book in the 90s. ❤

In my personal opinion, that's the best video on KZfaq. The only way for a video to be better than that is to be the same in HD... Not only is Reba amazingly magical, the whole thing is just... Wow... Speaks into your heart, really...

oh WOW!!! This is SO cool!! That must have been an amazing experience. I have lots of respect for Reba McEntire. She is talented and funny and so pretty! It is SO neat to see their reactions when each other is singing - Kelly is really talented too and how lucky for her to get to work with Reba! Oh you did SUCH a good job on this video. She mentioned it because in the beginning she said that Reba didn't need to convince her to record the song with Kelly. She also says that Reba wouldn't even have to convince Kelly to record a children's song like Mary Had a LIttle Lamb because recording with Reba is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Kind of a weird situation. Reba takes Kelly's song that she wrote, sings the lead vocal and makes Kelly sing backing vocals on it. Kelly's pretty humble I must say.

ExclusiveLM You really don't need amazing gear to record a hit song. I've sat in hotel rooms listening to demos recorded on a bus by a handheld that gave me goosebumps. Likewise, I've listened to tracks recorded in high quality studios which sounded like crap. It's all about the content of the song, the talent of the artists, and the abilities of the musicians

Both of them get me very emotional. I love them both versions. In My Opinion Reba and KElly's version of the music video is ten times more emotional, although once again I love them both. On of the most briliant songs to me no matter what the case

did you notice reba stepping outta the shot at 2:12....she did that on purpose. You could see it in her eyes. she was giving kelly the spot light. tells you what she thinks of kelly and who she is as a person.

First time I heard this song was when Reba and Kelly sang it together in a duet. It is because I am such a fan of Reba's, that I realized the talent of Kelly and started listening more to her music as well. Both have great voices, and sing well together.

This song benefits so much from this "country" production and in that Reba is absolutely dominant in emotion and power. It is a Kelly's song but she performs it kinda routinely and this duet fixed that. For the best. ;)
