Looking back...........listening to this interview in 2020 its crazy how basic Ryan is and how misogynistic his views are.....Not saying he's a wanna be macho or horrible but you can tell he is so surprised by her Non apologetic attitude. Apparently back then it was really shocking to see a straightforward woman who wasn't trying to be sweet and complacent. @rvggarcon Her music isn't meant to be deep, it isn't meant to summarize the meaning of life. Her music is dance music, it is meant to be danced to, and if you do not think it is revolutionary, you are crazy. She is the only female artist (i believe in 20+ years or so) to have as many number ones as she has, and think about how many people have "copied" her image lately, everyone...Beyonce, Christina, Rihanna, they all suddenly became edgy as soon as she stepped on the scene.

@rvggarcon Also, speaking as a dancer/choreographer, not only is her music beyond incredible to dance to, it is literally like a canvas to paint some of the most incredible choreography upon. But I am sure, in your opinion, that dance too must have a deeply meaningful base.

You pseudo-intellectual music snobs have this conception that all music has to have some intrinsic deeper meaning. Her music has been outrageously successful all over the world, so it can't be that bad, unless the entire world is wrong..
