This is really heartwarming. They hated each other, but they really were a close family. Kelly looking out for her little brother. The fact that Al didn't like other men hitting on his wife, even though he didn't like her all that much, but he secretly did. Couldn't live without her. And Marcy dancing with women.

There were some pretty decent attempts. Home Improvement was pretty damn good at times. Family Ties was also great in the 80's. The Goldbergs is a great show for a modern take set in the 80's.

Fun Fact: Tiffani Thiessen and David Faustino were good friends in real life. David Faustino was also good friends with Brian Austin Green and basically introduced both Tiffani and Brian to each other and the two of them dated each other back in the day.

it's these _rare_ moments when Bud & Kelly would put down the sibling squabbling and show they truly loved, or at least respected each other, that got the most applause from me. and Kelly was spitting *truth* in this scene: "We're liars, and you're all idiots".... she's not wrong. Then to _humiliate_ the broad her screwed with her brother...yo; "Never F@X! with a Bundy" _indeed!_
