I've always hated the fact that Saved By the Bell never addressed the obvious love triangle between Zack, Kelly and Lisa.

Even Mark-Paul sees that Zack and Kelly weren't that great of a couple. Listen to the Zack to the Future podcast, he puts Jessie and Slater before Zack and Kelly and acknowledges Zack and Lisa's chemistry & wants to see them together.

To be honest I've always been a Zisa fan! (Zack/Lisa) They just have such good chemistry, they have been friends forever, and I read your fan fiction so yeah LISA ALL THE WAY

I agree! The chemistry between the two was off the chart. In many episodes, I kind of felt they were a couple the way they interacted with each other. I am with Lisa all the way as well. And love this edit

Mark-Paul dated both Tiffani and Lark. He and Lark dated for the longest during filming and they had crushes on each other for a really long time. To this day, they both admit to really loving each other and it seems like they always wanted to end up together. Their chemistry on set was unmatched but alas, the producers didn’t want a mixed race couple, especially during the 90s on NBC. Plus, they’re coupling would have also been a bit more controversial since Mark-Paul is half Asian.

Sounds like facts. Where sis you hear about them still loving each other and wanting to be together to this day? I know Mark-Paul is married right now, as for Lisa I'm not sure. Didn't think they were so close as it seems like Lisa and Screech were the two that the cast kind of isolated during reunion specials etc. I get it for Screech due to his book but Lisa just changed her face a bit that's all. As for Mark-Pauk being half Asian, wow he doesn't look it

Sorry, but the part about them admitting to loving each other to this day is just not true. Lark actually denies that she dated Mark Paul and now he doesn't talk about it. I think she was hurt. I do believe they dated the longest and I think that's really sweet, really wish we could've seen it play out on the show. But obviously time has made them grow apart and I don't think either of them is longing for the other one.

I loved the episode where Zack and Lisa kissed. I hated that they completely dropped it after one episode. The drama of Screech seeing it, I always (in my mind) figured the backstory was that ultimately, regardless of what was said in the episode, Zack and Lisa didn't want to ruin their lifelong friendship nor did they want to devastate Screech, also a lifelong friendship. For that time, Zack and Kelly made sense- the pretty boy all the girls loved and the head cheerleader were seen as the ultimate high school power couple. MPG and Lark Voorhees dated irl for several years IIRC!!❤️❤️ Definitely a beautiful couple!🥰

In Zack's fantasy, the episode they had a whole rockstar career, when the band split up... Lisa went on American Gladiators 😂 and... If memory serves me correct... there's a line by Slater about seeing her episode and he saw that she "beat up EVERYBODY.... including the audience." 😄 This show was wild if ya think about it... Zack freezing time for no reason, other than being "super cool" and it's Shakespearean aside soliloquy all of a sudden. Characters that came and went with no explanation... Tori! Tori came out of nowhere, then disappeared and oddly... she looked like Kelly and Jesse combined!!!

Lol it's a show and involved a plot. However, I was hurting and pissed for Zack thr way Kelly flaunted the new bf around him. Now that I think of it, Zack was always the fall back guy.

Kelly and zak was the fight choice but I always had curious for lisa and zak wish it had been explored more. It made no sense they got together screach got mad and they sorted it out and then nothing was ever mentioned again

It seemed that way for a while, because they might have mirrored the way Steve and Laura’s relationship evolved on Family Matters. But instead they just had Screech and Lisa becoming good friends.

zacks relationships with lisa and stacy were fun sub plots but kelly was definitely the top girl of the show and the one he was meant to be with.

Zack and Lisa would've made more sense because he'd been friends with her longer and she knew him better (and wasn't afraid to call him out), whilst Kelly was naive and sort of ignorant to how far he could sink sometimes. I know he ended up with Kelly, but their relationship always seemed so shallow in substance. He wanted her because she was hot and that was literally it.
