Kelly's show is what we need these days. She is so talented, humble, and kind. She doesn't act like a celebrity. She is so down to earth. She still remembers what it's like to struggle and pay bills 17 years ago. Kelly is so blessed and thankful! She is amazing! Love ya Kelly!

@muzik note Kelly's show started September 9th, 2019. It's on Monday through Friday on at different hours. In Arizona, it's on at 2 pm. I love it! You can look on KZfaq and see a lot of episodes you've missed. Or download the NBC app and see a few of them. I hope this helped.

I am literally in tears. I am a retired teacher. My Dad and his mother were teachers and my daughter is currently teaching. We never made a lot of money, however, the love and joy experienced every day in school with our students was priceless. We truly believe the children are our future. Patricia Burke yes I agree! My grandparents were teachers and my mom was and my aunt and my brother and sister-in-law. I should have become a teacher but I chose another career that doesn’t pay much and followed my dad who’s an artist. 😜 Teachers do so much and most should get paid more I think.

Alice Quinn I noticed the bruises too and I’m glad you pointed out how she didn’t even cover them up because that totally made me realize how we like never see things like that on TV and I never thought about it being because they cover them up. It’s like the absence you don’t really notice, until it’s present and pointed out. That really helped enlighten me a lot. Thank you for pointing that out. I appreciate it very much!

I wasn't a choir kid but choir was mandatory in my elementary school. To this day, I have a deep love of music from rap to classical and everything inbetween. I took drama class in junior high and high school and those skills have been the ones I most use in my everyday life.

It's wonderful what you Kelly are doing for these dedicated music teachers. My dad Fred Pike was a bluegrass/country musician who also taught music. You can look him up in Maine's Hall of Fame. When he passed away many yrs ago, we asked for donations to go to the local school's music department.

It's been 17 years? wow.....We were in the middle of a move from Arkansas to Florida during the American Idol finals, and timed our over night stops, so we were in a hotel with our pizza or sandwiches just in time to watch the show!!! I was a middle school musical theatre teacher for 14 years and loved seeing my kids be successful. Due to changes and budget cuts, I was moved to another school and the program suffered. After moving to Nashville three years ago, I was offered an opportunity to start a middle school music theatre program at a charter school just a few days ago. I am beyond excited to come full circle and blessed. I am so excited that Kelly and her show are showing love for music teachers. What a great gesture.

I’m a 35 year Montessori teacher. Everything these teachers said resonated. Thank you for honoring them. While I’ve never been acknowledged, in a way, through these teachers, I have. So thank you. 🤓💕

I love that you did this for them. What touched me was the teacher who lost her voice. As someone who is very passionate about singing myself (when no one is around) i can relate somewhat. Don't really have the voice i used to as a kid. Plus it is hard to hear myself with hearing aids. Kudos to you kelly. You are a blessing.

Music teachers are so important. All teachers for that matter. Being a choir boy myself i know the impact choir teachers can have on someone. Schools shouldnt be cutting these programs. Keep them in schools.
