Kelly...this one made me cry. I have wanted a cookbook holder for some time to hold my grandmother's recipes, (which are discolored and falling apart). She has been gone many years but, I constantly get out her books for reminders. What an awesome idea with the sentiment attached...bless your heart...you are sweet and awesome! Not connected, but I just returned from a holiday and while doing laundry, I washed my mom’s handkerchief too. I cried that I lost “mom” all over by washing it. I lost her in 2017, and I got her collection of kerchiefs. I choked up seeing your video. And had to see the video again to register it. Stop chopping onions, girl. ❤️

That turned out pretty. My Mom has a Search Light cookbook she has had forever. I think she bought it at a thrift store when my Dad was in Vietnam. Once a mother and daughter were shopping at the dollar tree. The child was doing a craft for school. The mother did ask me a ? And the child too. I ran around the store, from one end of the store to the other and back. Each time picking up a items saying paint this or glue that. I don't know if they did any suggestion or not, but I watched as they. . . Saying maybe or it might work. I seen them "click'. As they continued to shop. That made my day.

Kelly my Dad had his Mom’s Household Searchlight cookbook and the cover was falling off. I used that cookbook all the years I was growing up and learning to cook. Many years later I sneaked the cookbook out of my parent’s house and had it rebound, including my grandmother’s name on it. Gave it back to Dad for Christmas. He was thrilled, and shed a few happy tears. After he passed the cookbook was given to me. I gave it to my baby sister, as she was the last of us six kids to use it. She was very happy to have it. (She’s the youngest and I’m the oldest...we’re the “bookends” 😉). The recipe I used the most was the Sweet Milk Pancake one. Happy memories.

Honestly Kelly... Beautiful holder for your treasured book! This is very versatile, could be used in many ways. I’m thinking to make it to hold info that I need to enter in my computer. Then when it’s not being used I could display photos on it, or it could hold my antique dictionary on my desk. 💡 Thanks for another great idea!😉👍🏼
