I'm so happy for her! I remember an interview where she said she was working a job she wasn't happy with, and then she got this opportunity. I'm so happy she landed this role and aced it! 🙌 Really Enjoyed Echo and I also loved her Hawkeye!

She is an amazing actress and everyone should watch Echo ASAP.

I just want to say that I’ve watched a few interviews with her now, and they are probably instructed ahead of time, but everyone (news channels, jimmy Fallon, Kelly) all do a great and IMPORTANT job of actually looking at alaqua when talking to her and listening, even though the interpreter is speaking. It’s a huge piece of being polite and respectful in the conversation!

I absolutely love the double-translator strategy. It’s a genius idea for camera angles and keeping the show flowing in an inclusive way! Great job!

It's nice seeing someone get their good ending and be represented. It's nice seeing the studio willing to keep an open mind and change the story a bit to fit Alaqua. She's a great actress she has an intensity and presence. I like seeing other people getting their representation to look up to.

i liked her show a lot! the action sequences were good and the relationships echo had with her family felt very real. a couple of the side characters were absolute scene sealers! quite enjoyable to watch and not a huge time commitment. i really recommend it.

I personally liked the show! I honestly haven’t seen a lot of marvel movies or the show since Eternals but ECHO was pretty fun to watch!

Some feedback for the editors of the show- the Kelly Clarkson logo covers both the interpreter and Alaqua during much of the interview due to the placement. Accessibility dope! Thank you. But can improve.

I loved this so much!! This was the first time I've seen a talk show have interpreters on air! My only qualm is that it seems no one told any hearing people there to look at and speak to the non-hearing person directly, not the interpreter. It's a different concept at first, essentially ignoring a physical person who is speaking behind you. But you have to treat it similarly to watching a movie in a theater or having video coming from in front of you while sound is produced from behind. For one, it's polite and two, if you're speaking and turn around, it becomes harder to read your lips. ♥

She's amazing in the role! Love to see that she's very down to earth as well. Absolutely love the Wisconsin heritage, including the indigenous heritage that is very important to our beautiful state! Hope to see her in more roles!!

honestly, she did very well for acting its her second acting role and first as lead we can't expect her to have same level as actors who have been there for years yet for me she did better than other starters actors, so I hope she continues improving and learning and hopefully get more roles and I'm sure she should appear again as Echo hopefully in Daredevil. its just comics got different kind of fans, this isn't some random superhero series made for representation and if I will ignore comics, the storyline just didn't feel strong enough Daredevil cameo was very random i get the show focusing on her but if they made his appearance meaningful that would have made a huge difference, beside it got released before series and that just ruined the surprise. some storyline parts I'm very sure had been cut would have helped very much with the storyline. so I can't blame her, she did what she was given and did it well, writing isn't her fault.
