In honor of International Day of the Girl, Kelly talks with Massachusetts sisters Lilah and Kiley who recently helped exonerate the last woman unjustly accused of witchcraft during the Salem Witch Trials. Lilah and Kiley, along with their history teacher Carrie, recap the infamous trials of the 1690s, and share how their classes wrote legislative bills and letters to congress to help exonerate Elizabeth Johnson Jr.

This is amazing to watch on daytime TV. I'm so happy to hear justice being served for people, no matter how long it has been and to see people like Sam Smith coming out as a witch. We are all so unique and have amazing gifts that can help the planet, yet are often misunderstood. In tears. Thank you Kelly!

i learned about the Salem Witch Trials in my College U.S. History class in the beginning of this year. (college class in high school)

People still share this information as if it's true and people doing ridiculous ghost investigatons. Which all of them literally say none were witches... It's seriously sad and sick. It's just because they're women let's be real they did similar things husbands putting their wives in mental asylums for having a period or saying the word no or just sick of them. It's sickening

Ok I am a history major and the Salem witch trials my family has very strong ties to and I know the witch trials inside and out and most ppl will get the European trails mixed up with the American trails but it all matters history is extremely important I would love to meet you and talk to you about what really happened and it would make my husband happy

Witch craft is not. The devil is part of christianity not any other religion. Learn more about the subject. It was alot of messed up things that happened and is still happening. Plus anyone that was different or the women wasn't like everyone else, she would be considered a witch back during the time of the witch trials. People can just accuse you of being a witch back then. It was not fair. It was very wrong. Women died during the witch trials.

There is a list of horrible things that happened due to relegion. Many people that do not understand logic can go to far. GOD did give you brain hopefully. USE it besides a hat rack! There is other relegions not just christanity. YOUR not the only religion. God even teaches you to have empathy... where is yours?
