I love how Norman Lear is so amused by Fortune He is clearly quite tickled by her. He has no reason to give anyone the time of day with all of his accomplishments. Norman truly seems to be a wonderful person. Fortune is delightful in this clip.

I used to wait on her and her Mom in the Drugstore of our little Hometown. So wonderful to follow her and see what success she has achieved!

@@suzannebracker8219 She and her Mom came in very frequently. They were very nice and always polite. Very well dressed! Now, Fortune was actually soft-spoken and very smart. I enjoyed waiting on them. We filled any prescriptions and they usually stopped at the front, where we made Orangeades from freshly squeezed oranges from a very old orange press, manual, of course! She would pick a little snack, and sometimes, they would stay for a bit at one of the two booths in the store. They gave off an air of sophistication and it truly appeared that they were well-off. 😊 Great memories! She was a child, and us girls were High School Juniors and Seniors that worked 3-6 pm Weekdays and all day of Saturday. I worked there for three years straight into college and nursing school! It's just a thrill to see how she grew up, found her place, worked so hard for it. I couldn't be more happy for her. And, I certainly hope that SHE is happy, Herself. ❤️

I never said "we're going to Hooters" but I did take my kids to Hooter's. 2 girls and a boy. Even got a picture of my son with the hooter girls. Anyway when my 14 yr old dt told me she was/is Bi....I literally said "whatever floats ur boat!" And went back to making my lasagna.😀

Elle Gandy my friend, FINALLY got a lifesaving lung transplant three weeks ago. Today she was able to walk for the first time. We nearly lost her twice, and this pandemic effects mainly the lungs, I think these two amazing women will be juuuuust fine!

Happy to say they got married in Oct. 2020 in a small covid-safe backyard ceremony. Not happy to say I'm replying to a comment that's close to a year old and I'm still here during the pandemic.
