what a memory to record !! 60 years later I still remember this day!! I am -6.25 & -6.75 do you appreciate that we are so deficient that we cannot really see to choose the glass frame styles without good advice from others ??? This is my life's bane that others are not really helpful in this!!

well her vision is 20/60, She had to have special lenses made.The specialist said that it looks like we caught it time to where the glasses may correct her right eye just enough to where she doesnt need surgery, or possibly go blind.He said with her right eye not being able to focus, her brain would turn her eye sight off and ignore her eye, so when her right eye couldn't adjust her brain made it to where she would temporaily go blind through that eye.I hope this helps..

I got glasses last week. My left eye is +2.75 with 165 degrees astigmatism and my right eye is +2.50 and 55 degrees astigmatism. I'm too blind to drive. It's about 20/50 and the driving limit is 20/40 😳

Why did the eye doctor say she has to wear glasses all the time? I'm very nearsighted and My eyes are too sensitive for contacts and lasik and i don't wear glasses all the time. Anyway speaking of which i used to see an eye doctor i had 6 appointments with and her name is Dawn P rush. Here are the dates of my 6 appointments i had with her. 1.August 5, 1998 2.June 16, 1999 3.December 30, 1999 4.October 25, 2000 5.April 30, 2001 6.May 16, 2002 My 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th appointments with her she yelled at me to wear glasses all the time however with my first 2 appointments with her she wasn't like that. I mean only nerds wear glasses all the time.
