Here I am 4 years later on the anniversary of my brothers passing. This song was played at his wake and applied to his lifestyle. Remembering him, as he is gone but never forgotten. Sometimes it takes some men longer to mature but we all have something to learn from every person we encounter throughout our lifespan. And my biggest take from all of this time we had together was his zest for life and laughter. How I long to hear his hearty laugh one more time! I love you John boy, you will always be with me in spirit. Thank you big brother for everything you taught me good and bad.

I don't know if Kelsea actually wrote this or not but I absolutely adore the lyrics and the way they way they all connect back to Peter Pan. Not even just the obvious ones like "Lost Boys", "Neverland", "never gonna grow up, never gonna be a man" but "chasing stars", "keep your feet on the ground...fly away", it's like every lyrics is part of the Peter Pan story. It's not just a shallow reference to someone who can't grow up. It's crafted into the very fabric of the song.
