Kelsea Ballerini isn’t holding back when it comes to sharing the story of her divorce from Morgan Evans. She dropped new bombshells in an interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, including slamming her ex for “taking half of the house that he didn’t pay for.” Kelsea also confirmed she’s now seeing “Outer Banks” star Chase Stokes and revealed she slid into his DMs.

I like her music. But as someone who has been on the receiving end of it, telling someone that you never wanted to marry them in the first place is probably the most hurtful thing you can say to someone. Folks, DO NOT MARRY FOR ATTENTION AND A ONE NIGHT PARTY. A full marriage is way more than that.

This is a really bad look for both of them. I believe matters like this should be kept private. No need to twist the knife or make the heartbreak even worse. Be mature and don’t publish songs disparaging one another or spreading your most personal details to someone you don’t even know. I was fans of both but now I really just don’t know. Wish them the best though.

Kelsea wasn’t going to originally talk about it, but Morgan’s song made it sound like she didn’t tell him anything was wrong. So she had to set the record straight to keep her career.

She didn’t need to slam him for doing the song “at the wrong time.” He’s allowed to grieve too & she can’t judge how he does that, especially when she’s the one who yanked the rug out from under him. I mean yes they had issues and he knew they were struggling. But to be the one who calls it quits and then slam him for how he handles it (and not even in a mean way) is just immature & almost narcissistic.

@Amanda F. Paccagnella They were in therapy, but that doesn't mean he wasn't under the impression they weren't still in it for the long haul. He might have still thought they were on the same page when it comes to commitment. If so, it's understandable that he felt blindsided, even if it was a long time coming for her. And it's not always the woman's fault, but sometimes it is.

I am a child of divorce. I get it, I understand her. I don’t like marriage either. And it’s taught & talked about so much in Christian circles. And while I like & appreciate the sentiments that are taught about how to have a striving, healthy loving marriage im still kind of like “naaah im good.” Marriage is hard. Relationships are hard. I understand her. So I can’t judge her. But I still don’t like how she has dealt with this at ALL. She tears him down in public, she makes jokes and shows that’s she’s celebrating divorce on the opry stage. She’s blaming him for stuff.. again.. in public. Like it’s just not okay. I don’t like that about her. It shows emotional unintelligence & unfairness. She’s bitter & she needs to deal with that with her people, her friends & family privately. Not on. A podcast talk show.

I don't think she is bashing him? she is literally speaking her truth. Anyone and everyone who has been in a relationship should relate to each person having their own perception of reality; and generally, when they don't coincide---it results in the ending of the relationship. I am happy for her. Eventually, Morgan will be happy when he finds his right person.

have to agree with this...he likely was a lover opposite of her softer ways that she thought were in private and well, that ain't the world, honey. I say that just from things she has said. Also, she has to take some ownership here. He moved in after 8 months and she says "It was the undertone of the whole relationship"? really? It is your place, you say simply "It is too soon" if it is, and reassess where you think he is versus where you are. 8 months is a great time to shit or get off the pot.

I liked her music and her until after I seen this. There was no need for it. I even done a few covers of her songs which she noticed. So I guess I’m not a fan of her anymore. I was a really big fan of both Morgan and Kelsey.. but it's pretty obvious to me which a lot of people have not noticed is she has sold herself to the woke Hollywood underground.. and Morgan didn't want her to.. Morgan is a down to earth Australian that wants the best for everyone.. but she is just showing how toxic she has become.. after this soul selling she has done.. I have little respect for Kelsea after this. I remember hearing about this about a year ago and I felt the same then too. Morgan handled the divorce much better than she did, especially since she was the one who literally said she didn’t want to get married in the first place but did anyway, and then reportedly cheated on him too. She clearly doesn’t have good morals. I like some of her music, but I don’t like her as a person.

Bad decision for me to watch this because any respect I might have had for her is out the window. This shows no class whatsoever. I was curious what happened between them, so I watched it.
