Kelsey Grammer is returning to the titular role in the new season of Frasier, but since the show ended its first run, John Mahoney, who played his father Martin Crane in the show, has passed away.
Kelsey tells us just how hard it was to make the show without his close friend.

I watched every show at least 3 times. I will miss John Mahoney. He gave what I called common sense to the two sons. I loved his character, and his acting was superb...

Touching interview... to this day, Kelsey Grammer still gets choked up talking about John Mahoney… they must have been really close. But then again, the cast of the Original Frasier was a tight-knit group. I miss Martin too - RIP.

Why are Leftys so brainwashed to hate anyone who doesn't agree with them 100% of the time as to think they're incapable of human emotions? It's obvious he loves John (as a surrogate father), and misses him terribly.
