It seems that you can only add educational or professional accounts according to OneDrive help. I don't know if this have changed over the time.

By the way. You have two options to bypass this problem. First. You have an already account 1 personal onedrive in your pc. You can share the wanted folders from account 2 to account 1. Then you can go to the onedrive web account 1 >shared> and click "Add shortcut to My files" (Añadir acceso directo a mis archivos). This will add account 2 folders to your account 1 onedrive. Option 2. Add the second user session account to your local PC. Right click the folders you want to share and access properties to give permission to share the file with the other user. That way you can access that folder through windows explorerer > network>second user >folder (but not under the onedrive tree).

Hi Cindy, Adding multiple OneDrive accounts to your computer doesn not take any space on your device. When you add onedrive to your device, all folders are sync to the cloud and only when you double click on the file that its temporary get downloaded to your computer. You can right click on the folder and select "always keep on this device", then it will take space on your device.

Hello Hugo, do you mean OneDrive for Business? Sure you can use group policy to modify the name and location of OneDrive for all users when they logon to their computer.

Are you receiving any error message when adding multiple OneDrive account?

I have got an idea and it is working. Install one drive from Microsoft Store and add your second Id. It will works both onedrives

Hi Sudarsan, are you using a personal device or company device? Are you trying to configure personal OneDrive and company OneDrive on the same device or both personal OneDrive? If this is a company device, probably is blocked by your company policy. If this is a personal device, it should be possible to configure multiple OneDrive.

Hello, thanks for watching my video. When you activate OneDrive on your user profile, other user´s account on that device will not have access to your onedrive. They will need to activate OneDrive on their user´s account. When 1st user logon and activate OneDrive, when 2nd user logon, he/she will not see the onedrive of 1st user. Do you mean it's 'not hidden' or 'hidden'? If it's not there, the OneDrive program on your computer isn't running. WindowsLogo-key, type onedrive, a OneDrive cloud logo item should appear in the list, click it to start it. An annoying File Manager window should pop up, do with it what you will, and down in the Notification Area \ the OneDrive icon should now be there.

Hi Paul, No, you don´t need to unlink the first account. You can add as much account as you much. I have 3 OneDrive account link to one device without any issue

Hello Nick, Are you receiving any error message when you tried to add a second account? Are you using OneDrive for Business or just the standard OneDrive.

@@Kelvglobal Hi Kelvin, thanks for your response. I think the particular problem I was having is that the onedrive account that I was attempting to add was part of the same MS 365 family package. This is up to 5 individual accounts for the members of your family. With this type of onedrive it is not possible to assign say 2 accounts to one user. You can of course have 2 users (or more) on one Windows laptop, each with their own onedrive account, they would just need to login to their own user accounts. That's how I solved the problem. If the onedrive accounts were entirely separate it makes sense that your explanation would work. It all make sense, now.
