I loved those matches between Ken and Andre the Giant. Ken"s facial expressions when getting rag dolled by Andre was priceless.Ken knew how to keep you watching.

Wrong, Ken. Flair was using the "Nature Boy gimmic a couple years before Buddy came to Mid-Atlantic. I was there and remember it well. That's when Flair began using the Figure-4 ... to "contend" with Buddy. I remember it was really sloppy at first, compared to Tim Woods who was known for the move at that time (in Mid-Atlantic)

Ken forgot about the "Battle of the Nature Boys" feud between Flair and Rogers. Flair changed his gimmick and nickname before Rogers came to Mid-Atlantic. Rogers came to Mid-Atlantic to feud with Flair in 79. Rogers was the heel and Flair the babyface, with Rogers claiming also that Flair was applying the figure four incorrectly. Rogers also didn't feud with Snuka, instead Rogers turned Snuka to heel and was managing Snuka in Mid-Atlantic, which is ironic since about 3 years later, Rogers would turn Snuka back to babyface and managed him again in the WWF.

It's a shame how both Bruno and Buddy were misused by the WWF in their retirement years. Great champions like them including Nick Bockwinkle who worked for wwf given jobs as road agents (or drivers) instead of using them for greater positions like backstage producers for the younger wrestlers to seek guidance to master their craft.
