i remember trying for hours to do a knuckle puck in my garage back when i was a kid and first saw this movie. i got a bunch of hockey gear for my birthday because i was so into the trilogy

I played hockey for 12 years because of this trilogy. When Ken does that spin move in D2, I thought, okay, if that tiny kid can play, why not me!?! I hope his character was specifically brought in to show that anyone can play hockey.

Mighty ducks 3 was spoiled on the fact the film was based around 1 player and there wasn't much ice hockey involved.

D2 The Mighty Ducks is 1 of the only films ever where the sequel was better than the original. D2 was awesome as a kids movie

Idk about that. The 1st was more of a serious move whereas D2 was almost entirely light-hearted. Not that that's bad and I can see why some might prefer it, but I wouldn't call it better. D2 basically just copy-pasta'd everything D1 did, kinda like Ghostbusters 2. Knuckle Puck = Fulton Reed's 1/5 shot, just slightly altered. Ken Wu = Tammy from D1 Iceland = Hawks

First movie was suppose to be the tear jerker. 2nd movie was a tie-in with the actual goodwill games/ '94 Winter Games. Plus, free publicity for the new Mighty Ducks team. 3rd one was just to wrap everything up...Which a few of the main kids didn't want to make lol.

D2 is actually my least favorite of the trilogy. Not that I don’t enjoy it, I like it, but it can’t compete with the iconic first movie and the emotional 3rd movie.

The second Mighty Ducks movie is very entertaining. I feel they did the same thing as the Ninja Turtles movies and felt that the first movie was a little serious, kind of dark and wanted to brighten things up in the sequel. Some days I do enjoy the silly sound effects and humor in the second one, other days, the first just hits the spot.

9 times out of 10 if I'm laughing at an SNL skit it is because Kenan and his usual facial expressions. He can make me laugh without even having to say anything.
