Psoriasis is an auto-immune disease causing suffering in millions of people around the world. Even the worst psoriasis can be improved by avoiding the 7 things I discuss in this video. In psoriasis, your immune system is NOT over-active, it is inflamed & confused. Eliminating these 7 things from your life will help your immune system calm down and come to its senses.
You want your immune system to be very strong and to know exactly what is You, and what is non-You. Only when you eliminate these 7 things from your system can your immune system calm down and do a better job. You are currently poisoning your immune system with these 7 things, and your immune system is causing Psoriasis in return.

The research shows there are 8 triggers for psoriasis: alcohol, smoking, inflammatory diet, stress, fatty liver disease and excess weight and viral activity. I spent 11 years trying to figure out how to clear/cure/get rid of my psoriasis. Not knowing what the research says on how to effectively treat psoriasis naturally. So I made a video called "How to treat psoriasis according to science - How I cleared my psoriasis". You can click on "align and inspire" (my channel name) to see it. I have been clear (no symptoms) for 4 years now. Love to my psoriasis family.

Thank you Dr Berry, I’m trying to help my husband with this he has it on both legs and now he’s been complaining about his joints hurting allot more. Unfortunately he does consume pretty much everything on that list… he loves his sweets and I even brought up the other day that maybe the amount of sugar he eats could most likely be hurting him. 🙏🙏🙏 Prayers for him and others who have this condition because I definitely see how uncomfortable this condition is.

I had severe psoriasis covering both legs below the knee for more than 20 years. Neither had seen sunshine for just as long. I started a strict keto carnivore diet solely for weight loss on July 1st 2021. Today is October 11th 2021 (2 1/2 months) and my psoriasis is completely gone with the exception of a small patch about the size of a dime on my left leg - all with NO medication. Hallelujah!

Well as I said it was a by product of wanting to get rid of inflammation and clear out adrenals. I've had it since I was 11yrs old. All over my scalp and smaller patches on my face. I'm 49 now. I went strict keto and took 250,000 iu of serrapeptase on an empty stomach each night and a swig of olive leaf extract in the morning after brush teeth and voila! It was a friend who noticed first that I wasn't scratching all the time. And I suddenly checked all over and it was all gone. I'd been so focused on my other concerns I'd just not noticed. It's been 2 years now I've been completely clear. But if I have carbs or sweets it starts to come back. The serrapetase and olive leaf I do notice keeps it not as inflamed and tolerable but it's the sugars from foods that kicks it off. So I'm pretty strict.

After inquiring found out he had a fun summer of eating a bunch of snack cakes and drinking dark sodas all day every day. Hard to keep him from scratching. #8 should be BLACK MOLD. I suffered with hardcore psoriasis for 6 years and tried everything my doctors could think of. I almost went insane. Then I started remodeling my bathroom and found a lot of black mold behind my shower walls. I had it all professionally removed and all my symptoms disappeared in a week. Black mold poisoning is only occasionally mentioned in psoriasis literature so even doctors tend to forget/overlook it. If nothing’s working for you, have your home tested for mold. It only takes a day and a couple hundred bucks. I hope this helps somebody.

@@jessikapiche6097 black mold creates a myotoxcin that damages the liver. There’s a well-documented correlation between psoriasis and various liver conditions such as alcoholic and fatty liver disease. Mine wasn’t located only on my hands, but all over my back, scalp, and legs. This isn’t meant to be the end-all cause of a complex autoimmune condition, just one of many factors that could trigger the problem.

My dear husband had terrible psoriasis, all of his life, he was hospitalized, he had special baths, soaps, ointment ,heat/ sun treatments. He smoked and also drank beer. Then he got terminal lung cancer, and his psoriasis disappeared. Nothing on his body... now I realise that he gave up smoking and drinking beer when he was so ill. This makes perfect sense. We had read about some of these " triggers" , but he wouldn't/ couldn't give them up until he was so ill. I was totally convinced that his cancer, and this immune system were linked in some manner.

Thanks Doc for trying. You probably have a point or few to make . In my opinion: There are simply too many variables in a diet that cannot be controlled to pin down to the ones you mentioned as probable causes. I had Psoriasis from age 45 to around 60. Used Salicylic products by the kilogram. Mysteriously disappeared even after I stopped medication. Never smoked and limited alcohol to wine and beer. But changed my lifestyle to active, attending gym, weight lifting (and still do at the age of 70) and cutting back on alcohol, grains, seed oil and sugar almost 99% and avoiding highly processed foods. And psoriasis is history.

The “duh” light went on over my head - vitamin D deficiency !!! I did a bit of research and it turns out most people are severely vitamin D deficient. I can not thank you enough. I watched this today and it finally made sense why my dog was so broken out. You are so much better than the veterinarian. They put my dog a strong allergy pill for 2 yrs. Then it stopped working. I've been reading , trying several different things. She gets better than worse. Its the oatmeal ,bananas, cheese , etc. Thankyou sooooo much ,now it makes sense and what a difference already.

My former boss's dog had the same problem. Treating the dog's allergies cost a fortune and the allergies continued to get worse. I suspect that my boss and his wife finally euthanized their dog when his own health became so bad and the costs of covering all medical bills was too much. Besides the dog was suffering.

Thank you thank you thank you a million times for explaining psoriasis so simply. I have suffered so much from autoimmune disorders for so long and I have always tried to fight my psoriasis without fully understanding just how it worked. This explains how it connects to so many other things I suffer with and gives me a much better idea of how to combat it. It also solidified for me my decision not to get any injections. I have been weary of them and now I definitely don't plan to ever get them.

This is so very interesting - thank you Dr. When my son was in elementary school, he had difficulty sitting still and we tried a course of Ritalin with terrible side effects. We then took him to a pediatrician who was also a clinical ecologist and allergy specialist. We learned that our son was terribly allergic to corn, sugar, wheat and some other foods that I don't really remember. We followed a strict diet, but relatives thought it was hogwash. They actually proved that the diet worked, because son was horrible after being fed garbage. As a teenager, the diet went by the wayside and psoriasis appeared with a vengeance. He now has psoriatic arthritis and takes biologics when it gets too terrible. I am going to ask him to watch your videos. He can start by eliminating corn and grains, which were a problem before.

I am 66 and developed Psoriasis in my early 20's at 1 stage in hospital for 10 days, being covered in potions and having UV treatment, I had 75% body coverage. The thing that reduced my Psoriasis to a massive degree was Lecithin granules, 3 teaspoons a day, plus a change in diet, I still have some patches, 1 on my leg and on my scalp. I do have to add that I believe stress does play a part also, and that a trauma in my life at 23 caused it to erupt.

Please do boost your diet with zinc...I suffer eczema...which is not far from psoriasis since they are having both allergic rxnz. The inflammations are due to lack of zinc, and zinc in the diet at good levels, has good antiinflammatory properties. Supplement your diet with pumpkin seeds...it's dense in zinc. Also, ensure u get a diet rich in omega three...foods like Nile perch fish, crabs, oysters and salmon will boost ur omega three levels, which boost skin healing process from inflammation. Another thing, the gut requires good level of lactobacillus bacteria to function well. Ensure you incorporate a supplement of this bacteria. Speaking to you, am seriously incorporating high zinc food in my system and omega three and I am improving. Also, if you see improvement after one month...you can get back to normal and completely have your psoriasis cured, as long as u boost mineral supplement as zinc, omega three in the diet

Food journaling has also revealed problems with nightshade vegetables for me and my psoriatic arthritis. Thank you. I have Guttae psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, now dealing autoimmune Vasculitis. I’m 41, barely walk some days. I had vascular ulcers, history of pseudomonas and cdiff so of course most treatments are too dangerous now to use 😞. I appreciate the knowledge. Your info ive def seen help at times, then weather or anything can mess up all the good. I was Almost 20 when it happened, a little scratch on my wrist that got infected triggered it!

I think the real component and ideas to his videos are basically any foods that increase the creation of cortisol (steroids from cholesterol, fats etc.) and vitamin D (a steroid) controls the immune system and lowers immune reaction seems to benefit allergy symptoms. Staying away from the foods and supplements that lower cortisol benefits those with allergies. That's why steroids are medically given for immune reactions, because they naturally control the immune system from going overboard. The body produces higher cortisol (steroid) levels everyday in the morning, but modern diets, supplements and many fruits and vegetables high in vitamin C for example or other things that affect and lower cortisol have allergic reaction effects when in over abundance during the early parts of the day. Medically when it comes to immune system control and pain management steroids and adrenaline are required, whether naturally or supplementing. When I had my wisdom teeth taken out I asked what the anesthetic was? The nurse told me "epinephrine/adrenalin".

I got rid of my psoriasis going keto, stop drinking and completely removing soy from the diet. No medication for over a year now, no symptoms. I remember, when I was a kid, hearing from the doctor that it doesn't have a cure, I just have to deal with the symptoms with medication (usually creams with corticoid hormones added).

@@kppurohit9537 I explained it in the comment. Start a keto diet, don't drink alcohol, and be sure to remove any grains and food made from grains even if it's low carb (like soybean oil). Also sunbathing everyday helps. And just to be sure, eat some fatty fish at least once a week for the omega 3 to help lower inflammation. It takes some time to really feel the difference. For me it took a couple of months. Just be patient and consistent with the diet. Dr Berry has a lot of good videos explaining how to do a keto diet properly. Good luck. I hope it works for you.

There are generally two ways of getting rid of psoriasis which I tried and worked. One is the Keto diet (High fat, moderate protein, and very low carb) and the other one is the intermittent fasting (16, 18, OMAD daily or 36+ hour fast once a week) with little bit of the forbidden things e.g. Some grains, Some dairy (Full fat milk or Yogurt, Goat milk rather that Cow milk) etc. Honestly I found that it is very hard to maintain strict Keto long term, due to the obligations of our social life, but I found intermittent fasting comparatively easy to maintain long term. Whenever I have to eat something (Friend's home or office) that may trigger my psoriasis, I simply stop eating and only drink water after that for at least 18 hours to help my body cope with it. This way I can maintain my social life and also manage my psoriasis.

I do intermittent fasting and do keto on the weekdays but allow myself a little bit of pasta and fries on the weekends and a couple beers. I haven't gotten rid of my psoriasis 100% but about 90% and I'm okay with that. I will not be giving up potatoes, tomatoes, peppers or beer. Might as well just die. lol
