as a resident franchise fan , I really love how you re-imagine sceneries that haven't been explored by Capcom . there were so many blank pages in the history of resident evil games and you guys simply rewrite those pages left in unwritten to our hearts contents . You know what, i love that modding scene is still alive in classic RE series, it is like Gothic, Stalker, and other old series that fans still love and still make content for them after years. I love seeing that.

I love how this genuinely feels like you're playing through the fall of Raccoon City rather than coming into the aftermath.

I like how the zombies follow you into the next room, hearing those doors open and close making you feel on edge. Makes it more realistic

A really fantastic fan project. I'm looking forward to playing through it once it gets its full release. fingers crossed that it does indeed happen this year! Such a unique concept to allow you to experience Raccoon City before its downfall. I wish mainline Resident Evil games did this too. Its so much more impactful seeing how the tragedy begins rather than the world already being in chaos before you start to play.

Man-spiders! I mean, whatever the spider-chimeras from RE1.5 were called! Whatever, I'm just thrilled to see them; I've always thought that the RE1.5 version had some really cool enemies that shouldn't have been cut. Capcom dropped the ball so hard when they failed to bring in more RE1.5 ideas for the RE2make.

Just LOVE IT! can't wait the final version! brings me the same feel as a child playing RE2 at night XD

I quite enjoyed how they implemented those hideous spider creatures from 1.5... Watching the 1.5 gameplay and seeing those things pop out of the floor in the lab was terrifying. Slightly makes me wish they didn't cancel those creatures, because I hate spiders ! XD

Very interesting update. Curious how the zombies can open doors but not climb stairs, perhaps that's a loading issue? I definitely liked the ending to Joe's scenario better, that creature gave me RE 1.5 Man-Spider vibes. Love that they wrote their own save room theme also.

This looks so good!!! I would love for this to be available to download on emulators, I could play this one on my PS Classic. I would literally pay money to have physical versions of these games on PS1 lol. I love these mods.

Just got back from my work that exhausted me and when i scroll KZfaq, your video is at my feed. Immediately click and not disappointing. Finally, During the Storm got updated... It's been long enough, but can't complain since i guess they made new maps, area, and like that... It obvious take a lot of time. Everyone, myself included thought that the project is dead. Anyway, it's amazing of how much they created the new area, the Cinema and lots of new mechanics, enemies, and weapons. The mechanics of zombie follows you around can be downright terrifying especially when you hear the door open sfx. They literally follow you everywhere through doors and stairs, expect the almighty saferoom hahaha xD. The weapons are... Hit and miss. It sucks that the M1911 model is just the regular RE2 Handgun model, and the Glock... While it's cool, but just inaccurate because the RPD issue the Browning HP as their officer service pistol. But oh well... The MP5K, the animation of that gun is based of the Custom Handgun/Custom VP70 from RE2 and I notice it fires in three round burst mode, so there's that. And lastly, very unexpected to see the "Man-Spider" from 1.5, that thing is terrifying looking and also fast. Maybe it's animation is based of the Plant-42 (i don't know what they called, i know Plant-42 is the big plant from RE1. I just don't know what their name is) mixed with the Giant Spider. If more 1.5 creatures make their appearance in the mod, especially the big monkeys... That would be insane. You know, the 1.5 mod was out... They could just extract stuffs from there and implement them into the mod. Then again, i'm not a modder or a dev (i wish i could, but i have to self-learn... I've made some mods like somehow, but they are in my personal stashes.) so i'm rambling out of my ... You did great showcase it and made a video of it. Awesome job, Kendozone. I could barely get my own videos out hahaha. Keep up your amazing work and stay safe there, take care of yourself. I've tried my best to write my comment even though i'm exhausted both psychically and mentally. You did good, my man Kendozone.

I've always found it funny in video games that light machine guns that use 9mm ammo are less powerful than their more limited, semi-automatic counterparts. An SMG is an extremely superior version in every aspect, since you get better aim (shooting in semi), more rate of fire, more ammunition capacity and very high destructive power compared to a pistol. I know they do this to have a balance, but I can't help but feel that the subject is very ironic.

I honestly hope there's a scenario where you and a lot of other cops survive. Have a little ending art of leon arriving and RPD still fighting. Always thought it'd be cool for a lot of RPD guys to live and to actually survive Raccoon City

Oh man, this is a map from "No More Room In Hell" named "Broadway 2". I mean background locations (cinema & corridors) almost look like from NMRIH. But anyway this mod looks and plays well. I still remember the demo and it was amazing! I couldn't even imagine that Resident Evil could look like this. Hope guys will finished and release this mod someday.

Everything about this, except for the nonsensical dialogue and weapon choice/balance, feels authentic. It's a shame though that little details get lost in translation with mods for games however.

It would be cool to have an actual side story with Kevin as the protagonist with either the REMAKE VERSIONS or the ORIGINAL VERSIONS. The developers could do alot, like mentioning LEON as well as having a scene with JILL making a brief cameo amidst all the chaos etc.

Come on guys, today with artificial intelligence you can make voices perfectly easily (you speak the dialogues and then pass it through AI, using another voice, or cloning that of characters from the original game if you want) it would be a great contribution for the scenes where there are dialogues
