I met a old school dude on the street who was OG Comanche. Spoke limited broken English. Said his home was taken by the tornado in Oklahoma and when I said “I’m terribly sorry” he quickly said “no.. I just rebuild again.. our only job is to love.. make’s everything okay” For some reason it floored me. Comanches were hardcore nomadic warriors. I'm truly glad I grew up with Kendrick Lamar music, reason why.. I grew up in A community where everyone is A gang bangers and drug dealers around, but I was raised by A single parent that was my father that always put me in A right path, but it was so hard to deal with all the madness around me and show everyone im A young man that just trying to practice my morals to prevent from falling to that path.. but I got alot of love with all the homies that stop others gangs that try to recruit me to A gang.. instead there'll mothers recruit me to church to find god and share Jesus love to everyone.. When K Dot came through dropping nothing but masterpiece albums, man.. I really appreciate him alot! Plus knowing he's from the west coast.. even better understanding of the culture of the streets and the environment that i can relate too, his music really help me go through hard times! Amen! I cry listening tp his wisdom! As a Mom, I know his parents are PROUD! He is TRULY a gift from God! I'm embarking on doing a careers change to do something I believe I'm called to do!
