I'm so here for it, I'm sick of all the societal pretending like we dont just watch stuff happen and then feign shock when it goes mainstream. I just turned 36. When I was a little kid, one of my first crushes was Aaliyah. Little 9 year old me would have risked it all 😂😂😂..... but by the time I was 15 I already knew about R Kelly because VH1 had already covered it on several of their shows. Their relationship was talked about on MTV. Why did it take almost 20 years for that "man" to go to jail? Why was David Bowie still a superstar until his last breath when we have countless women who have come forward and said he was with them when they were in their early teens? Steven Tyler? Had an underage girl on tour with him. I believe he actually got guardianship of her from her parents so it would be "legal". Ted Nugent? Same. Married her. He defended it by saying he was straight edge, so atleast she wasnt with some dirty junkie. Even 69. He filmed guys running a train on an underage girl and people cared more that he was a snitch. Make that make sense. We just choose to casually ignore behavior from certain people. The number of guys ive met who say they would destroy someone that touched kids.... and then defend predators is mind numbing.
