This includes going over their backstories, personalities, appearances, and fighting style. Today I'm going to analyze "The Thai God of War" Gaolang Wongsawat.

The Kengan Ashura manga is currently completed right now with 27 volumes and it has a sequel called Kengan Omega. The Kengan Ashura anime is currently streaming on Netflix and has 2 seasons.

What I also like about this series is that the fighters aren't young kids or high schoolers. Nope these fighters are well aged and experience veterans and legal adults. Although Imai looks young he's a legal adult at the age of 18. This anime shows us what real fighters can do. Sure it's a little bit fictional in some areas like ohmas Advance, Raians Release, and the doctors altered body but that's about it But what I really love is that there are no hard feelings between the competitors once it ended. Despite the fact that they did try to kill each other.

The manga is sorta a new flavor of martial arts mang because before u had the generic highschoolers learn Kung fire balls shit, but instead it actually draws inspiration from real life martial arts (even some super obscure ones) and sure it can be really unrealistic sometimes (Usually when it comes to body alteration and limitations) but it’s still so godam cool.

Gaolang is so fucking cool and awesome. He quickly became a favorite of mine, second only to Cosmo. One favorite moments of him. Is when he enter the arena to fight Fang. You can feel the epicness with each step he took. Thanks for the vid man.

If what I'm seeing is true Gaolang is still using Boxing after he punched Carlos' foot and if he defeats him with pure boxing then, fuck... he's really a fucking legend because his Hybrid Style of Muay Thai + Boxing is strong af and makes him extremely skilled. He's definitely winning.

He's right about the Kengan tournaments, they'd devolved into freakshows with gimmicks during Metsudo's reign. Which Nogi putting in rules to protect the fighters was a pleasant change. Gaolang a professional fighter seeing, criminals like Bando, Meguro, and Muteba and the cutthroat nature of the tournament must've been disgusted.

It's interesting that sport Muay Thai has a similar "weakness" to sport Taekwondo. A lot of point based fighting sports seem to have this deficiency where the strategy develops into how best to get points instead of keeping the fighting style strong and balanced. Boxing, Karate, TKD, etc all are probably pretty complete fighting styles if you go back a couple generations, but since the sport is so much popular than the actual martial art, it's hard to preserve.

uhhh...no because of how flawed the system is for muay thai is for punching. Most muay thai fighters have the most deadly cross and hooks ive ever experienced and they EAT them well too..When i do competitions and l get news my opponent is muay thai i usually dont think of knocking them out...Just tiring them out or win by boxing points

and also in 0:35 he says that fighter has to use all 8 limbs, but lethwei is superior in this as it allows 9 limbs fights(headbutts are allowed)

@@SilverrWolfx715 Definitely. He mostly tries to block, but is weak to counters. His only real weak point is his jaw, which he keeps covered up, so that explains why counters work so well on him.

Julius Bossman I’m sure he could do all three styles. The author has said that he’s reached the pinnacle of striking. But he does start off his fight out boxing I believe. He stays outside and uses his flicker jab a lot before moving in for the kill

5:17 Although he did also say that one of Karo's "Whale Burial" attacks could make Saw Paing loose on the spot. The fisherman had bizarre explosive force for someone without any experience in actual fighting. Bro, I love Yoshinari so much, he was in a very righteous cause after all and showed he could top the top of fighters without even being one.

Lethwei is better in my opinion for street fights when I was learning Muay Thai and learning the history of Muay Boran when I took classes on that Lethwei incorporates the usage of the head as weapon unlike Muay Boran head butts being all about protecting the head while striking with it by pushing Lethwei is different

@@nhattylitemedia Same it's not even in the Philippines which is funny because Asian countries like Vietnam, Thailand, or the Philippines will have some martial arts like that because it's a 3rd world country you know? Limited laws stop them and the people from these country like me are normally into these type of stuff.
