Microsoft Excel has released hundreds of new features over the years, so it's easy to miss their best ones. That's why, in this video, I've put together 8 of their best features you probably didn't know. First, we've got the live web data feature to import live data from the internet. Then we have the search feature to find anything on Excel. Third, we have the textsplit and textbefore/textafter formulas. Fourth, we have dynamic charts in Excel. Fifth, we have sparklines. Sixth, we have the image to text feature to convert any image into data inside Excel. Seventh, we have the go to special feature detect specific types of cells such as blanks or those with notes. Finally, we have the navigation pane, which is a table of contents inside Excel.

amazing features! but how about , for the text split, there are 2 words under the first name. Is there a formula to bring the 2 names in one column instead of having them separated? Thanks!!!

I am curious about the Image to text feature. How if the PDF is not readable, or not properly align, can excel do something to correct it?

I haven't tried it, but I would wager you could do a nested textafter within the textafter and have it work fine 😊

#1 Import live data and #2 Search menu does not work on with Mac Excel 365. Don't know about the rest of the tips. I stopped watching because I found the first two not useful on Mac.
