Finally a video that showed how to access the ice dispenser auger motor in my ~2008 kenmore elite model 106.45439800 refrigerator. Other videos showed access from the front panel, and not from inside the door under the shelf below the motor, as for my model. This video was a big help and made replacing the motor a simple job. Thanks!!

There was some wet rust on the shaft and the old motor. Should I have cleaned it? I wasn't sure, thought it was maybe grease.

Im trying to change the filter. Im getting no ice for the ice maker as well. May you help me please?

I cant get mine past the wires in the door mine has 2 plastic cirlces over the wires and no matter how i turn it they will not let it come out. Do I remove the plastic circles they seem impossible to move.

Hey how would I know that I need to replace the auger dispenser? My fridge makes the sound when I press the ice button but doesn’t dispense ice and the water dispenser works fine. I know it’s not the optic board but I’m not sure what else it is
