Garrison talks about it further in his book 'On the trail of the Assassins'. The report that the Mauser did not exists and was nothing more than an early misidentification of the Carcano seems to be the cover story that eventually stuck. Watch 'Two men in Dallas' for more, it contains the interview with that officer Roger Craig who claims to have actually witnessed the Mauser being found.

I designed my comedy pieces hoping they'd bring viewers to this film too, they have more than 9 million views, but didn't really change the % viewership of "Kennedy", which has 250,000 total... for all pieces. It shows the bullet striking JFK in the back, moving UP to exit the throat, then moving DOWN to hit JC behind the right armpit, then moving UP to strike JC's wrist, then moving DOWN to hit his thigh.
