Kennedy Meadows Campground California

Күн бұрынThis campground is about 25 miles west of Hwy 395 in California. The turnoff is about 7 miles north of the small, very small, town of Pearsonville. Actually all that is left of Pearsonville is a Shell gas station and a Subway sandwich shop. The sign is well marked. The climb up the mountain is pretty steep, but the campground is worth it.

Yeah, i like this kind of video..... love the way you give a narrative to the campsite so we know what it's like if we do come visit it...

That stream is the South Fork of the Kern River. It's stocked from late May till about early July with trout.

Don't forget to use lower gears when going down hill . That will save brakes. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for your comment. I do have a good generator. But at the time of year that I made this trip, the weather was quite cold. The desert can get very cold, especially at night.

Yes it is. Just take is slow. It is a good paved road all the say though.
