that's the built in Framerate monitor of Xiaomi you can enable it via developer mode if your a xiaomi user just research via google.

haven't tried any phone with 8S Gen3 yet but that Genshin performance on the new "highest" render resolution settings looks pretty good for a phone this price!! No surprise for HSR since even the best chip from MTK, Qualcomm or Apple can't really maintain 60FPS at max graphics around Golden Hour map too. But I think if just drop the graphics a bit, should be quite smooth.

I would really love to, but the thing is I haven't tried much headphones myself, although I do have access to the Sony XM5 and Bose QC Ultra on the high end, just to compare it to some soundpeats/soundcore stuff (but I know edifier, earfun, and a lot of brands are missing here)

U made the right choice bro x6 pro won't last as long as f6 because it's cheap hardware can't withstand heat and will probably have deadboot issues 2-3 years from now on like x3 pro, motherboard issues and things like that and I have low hopes for x6 pro too, sure things might have improved since the x3 pro but in terms of longevity of the phone the f6 easily is the winner but let's see

@@imadam1121lol that's not true,poco has improved from then when it comes to its X lineup and X6 pro provides a more value for money because in my country it's 90 dollars cheaper and the F6 doesn't seem like a big upgrade at all compared to that price jump(it costs 250 dollars in my country)

Got mine. Problem is that wifi only up to 10 mbps where my xiaomi 10 t g on 5g wifi goes to 490 mbps. Hopefully they got an update to this. 1 week only after noticing the speed. Poco F6 12gb variant

It's built in MIUI monitoring tool, you can find it in developer settings, just scroll almost all the way to the bottom

The Upcoming Dimensity 8400 is said to be a bit faster than the 8s Gen 3 but that is still just hear say so we'll see. I love that mid range chips are getting more competitive.

Thanks for the upload! Would you still recommend it when you won't really game on it? Is the SoC energy efficient when nothing exciting is happening? I plan to get on with a flagship SoC that hopefully lasts me for a decade.

And yes absolutely for daily tasks the chip is going to last you a very long while before you feel the need to change (maybe you'll get bored of it faster haha) Now for daily use I found the phone could last a day just fine, but it's not those who can last up to 2 whole days. Still it's a great runtime, especially paired with the 90W charging topping up is really fast too

I know that this is out of the scope of the video but has anyone done a comprehensive gaming test for the Nothing 2a? I am torn between the F6 and the phone 2a but I am torn if the gaming performance between the 2 phones are really night and day for casual players.

@@alexygo4243 2a is more of a non-gamer phone that can run genshin at 45 fps on medium settings and 30 on the highest . These numbers will not be as constant as the f6 as the processor is not very powerful. The f6 however can manage a good 45 fps on even max settings during longer durations and hence personally wud suggest u get the f6

If you are fine with playing at around medium settings and not that heavy games like codm, ML, Brawl Stars, and maybe genshin then go for nothing phone 2a. If you want to play at max graphics and play heavy games like wuthering waves, solo levelling, cod warzone, or play emulators then Poco f6 is better

you can get 60 fps but with medium shadow and spesial effect, and adjust some other settings. Idk wuwa seems tried to push their graphic if you set all high/ultra so it's significantly increase the temp.

@@spyalpharblx8111 well in all honesty the games i play are zzz, wuwa and warzone mobile and standoff 2 on medium to low settings due to playing long hours and i can say so far i dont see much fps drops since games like wuwa is slowly getting optimised after the 1.1 update and zzz is so far alright actually but ive seen people uninstalling joyose to increase perfomance and fps but i dont wanna the take risk tbh since i got for $490 sgd 12gb ram 512gb storage and wants to use it for a long time as my mobile gaming phone!!

One highly underrated thing about Poco devices is their Dolby Atmos in Video mode. Man, that thing is crazy good and super underrated. It made my half-in-ears sound on the level of in-ear buds. What's you opinion on it @Kenneth?

Interesting! I generally have recommended turning off Dolby Atmos for earbuds (cause they change the sound quality of the buds) but I'll try to check it out If we're talking video mode then we're using this for movies? Like Netflix?

@@namedkenn @namedkenn The settings works for pretty much anything I'd say. For music, KZfaq, movies. And just like you, I also turn it off if I have a decent pair of headphones attached because it changes the sound by A LOT. But if I'm using the phone speaker or half-in-ears, it improves the depth and bass by sooo so much on video mode. I have seen this on 2 phones, Poco F3 and Remdi Note 10 Pro. However, this setting produces vastly different results on cheaper Xiaomi models with little to no difference. I don't know how it works on the newer models, and that's why I wanted to hear your opinion on Dolby video mode.

In case I wasn't able to communicate properly, in the Dolby Atmos settings there are further 3 or 4 modes, Auto, video, music, voice (I think). From there you select video mode.

I was using Poco X3 snapdragon 860, but after heavy gaming with Genshin and Pubg everyday, in 2 years it got heating and mother board issues., Now it won't turn back ON. I hope they have Updated SD 8s gen3 with better cooling system.. If not then the phone may last only around 2 years and you need to change the motherboard or you need to choose a different mobile. I just chose Iqoo 12 over any other phone since it has better specs similar to ROG.

your line up in star rail is quite....unique😅 edit: wuthering waves still has bugs my poco f5 with disabled HW overlays on developer options can reach around 50fps at max setting but after the 1.1 update even with dev. option boost i cant even reach 40 and the update has camera sensitivity issue

My Poco X6 Pro 12/512 gives me pretty similar performance and temps. I get 45 degrees with Wuthering Waves, but now I see thats normal with that game.

Surprisingly holds up pretty well (this video doesn't show extended session but basically the phone is around 42deg max on the outside) So no significant throttling but it's just well... Hot haha

The terrible performance on Wuthering waves is not because of the device. That game just got released while still unoptimized, and it got worse update by update. In fact, you can finish dailies in Honkai Star rail on the same device snd network for the dame time you'd spend waiting for wuthering wave to load

That’s been long gone, I’ve had more than a dozen POCOs in the past and none of them died (and I game with the almost everyday)

@@namedkenn well, hope your not wrong cuz I had poco x3 pro and it died on me 6 months into use cuz of a motherboard killing it self and because I had a 1 year warranty, it got fixed.. then 2 and a half years later, system UI not working and it lock freezes and after a full reset of the phone, it's extremely slow and I can't use the keyboard and a lot of other functions like Wi-Fi disconnecting and sim card failed to read.... basically want it to last, cuz had a Samsung j7 and it still works after so many years and now using it as a back up.... edit... nvm... not going to buy the poco x6 pro... it explodes just like the Samsung S phone that did and still has the same problems as the x3 pro, poor motherboard quality so most likely a 2 year life spam at best, 3 if lucky

By the way, I noticed that you didn't turn on the "Ultimate Mode" through the battery logo as it should've turned blue with arrows icon facing up. Try turning that on through the Security app or just drag down the features panel and you should get the full potential of the POCO F6 👍

My 6month old poco f5 play almost 60-55 in genshin but in wuwa version 1.0 (45-60fps) 1.1 (30-45fps), my pc version of wuwa looks like 720p after 1.1 developer over cooked the game

I was looking for WW performance. And can say a sd 8 gen 2 performs better in ww. Normally it can pull up to 54-57 fps ( with some drops to 48) During combats it stays around 45-48( can drop upto 38 in extreme cases) .
