its funny to see how people in the chat saying this and that beat wasn't made in an hour...i think what most people don't understand is that the good beats are made by people who know exactly what they are doing. you need to understand that these guys are well organized when it comes to sample & soundselecetion and arrangements & mixing. of course you don't make such a beat if you have to search 15 minutes for ur drum sounds first. or browsing thru synth presets. so knowing ur sounds, libraries, presets for synths or even fx vsts is KEY!!!! i think most of the people who question this are people who are just jealous that their beats suck and they don't have any good ideas! stop being so begrudging spread love BIG UP TO ALL PRODUCERs

Problem with an hour is everyone makes a premade, then slightly chops the sample in usually as a vox effect. That was 95% of the beats this time around, premade loops with the sample barely being used. Props to the ones that were able to use the sample melodically.

don't know if they came around to figuring out how 11th place (the first beat played) used the sample, but I'm pretty sure they put it through a vocoder and let it play as the main synth pad chords. Edit: Why did Kenny keep saying people didn't use the sample when they obviously did, just not as the main thing happening lol, the joey diaz thing sucked pretty bad overall but they did use the sample

I like Kenny's energy here with his criticisms. For example, "Sounds like AI Christina Milian beat". I haven't watched these beat battles for the past year and this one popped up. To fliko and Kenny, I am grateful for the motivational criticisms and then telling everyone the mindset behind it and how it's from a place of love, encouragement, and invigorating and for where I am at in life, not just music but all around was really good for me to hear to give me that invigorating, extra shot in the arm that I needed to start this week better than the last one. Are everybody in his community "Yes men" or whats wrong? I have seen nearly all of these reuploads, and damn, nearly every beat has the same vibe. There is nothing that stands out and is completely different except this one beat i heard sometimes last year with those breakbeats that sounded like Aphex Twin. That one was amazing. Other than they sound like a mix of Mr. Carmack and some funky boom bap beats. Out of 600 those were the best ones??
