There is something special about how the young man in college who got in for football with low grades but red shirted (sit on the bench) the first year to pursue his education in earnest and he got a 4.0. Just knowing that he came from greatness was enough to motivate him. We truly need to understand how powerful that is. We need black psychologists to recreate that in every classroom because once our kids are motivated the sky is the limit.

I’m actually kind of outraged at this video. They totally dodged his question about trickling down some of the money. I read the article about Jack Daniels and Nearest. Nearest taught jack daniels how To make the superior whiskey, jack daniels started a business with that recipe, and in exchange Jack Daniels hired Nearest to work at his distillery. Nearest should’ve been brought on as a partner since it was his skill set a.k.a. intellectual property that provided the whiskey anyway. The Nearest family is owed more than just jobs at the Jack Daniels business they are owed billions and continued revenue. Jack Daniels does over 1.09 billion in sales each year.......and growing.

Not only JD whiskey but African Americans also invented the video game console, cellphone technology, the first color computer monitor, the first IBM computer, the air conditioner, blood banks, the modern lightbulb, etc.. I hope this becomes an interview series on black inventors.
@EthicalAuteur
@EthicalAuteur 6 жыл бұрын
This is misinformation. Jerry Lawson invented the first game cartridge, Martin Cooper invented cellphone technology. The air conditioner was invented by Willis Carrier in 1902. Blood banks by Charles Drew, etc.. Everything you said was either false or a half truth. It only took 2 minutes of google to prove you wrong.

*You are a liar* Gerald ‘Jerry’ Lawson: Inventor of the Cartridge-based Video Game Henry Sampson: gamma-electric cell (used in cellphones) Otis Boykin: the first color computer monitor, the first IBM computer Lewis Latimer: the air conditioner Charles Drew: blood banks Lewis Latimer: carbon filament *This list is just a scratch of the surface because there have been far more inventions by African Americans. Don't @ me again. Go away.*
@EthicalAuteur
@EthicalAuteur 6 жыл бұрын
I already said Jerry Lawson. You first said console and now you're switching it up. Henry Sampson is also a pioneer in the technology that is used in modern cell phones, but contrary to a widely held belief, he didn't invent the cell phone. Most of what you say is half truths, like I said. You're just talking.

@@theboomboomroom3268 Bruh don't waste your time. Always trolls trolling. I've literally spent so many years on hidden history, u can actually say that whites really didn't invent anything worth being proud of. They literally stole all the slave inventions because as slaves they didn't have rights to any of their inventions. Even Alexander Bell didn't invent the phone his slave friend did. He even did the blue print for it. But I think the biggest invention blacks achievement is civilization. (Facts)

"That's the beauty of teaching African Americans history before slavery" Charlemagne still doesn't get it, the story of Nearest is an everyday slave story, we were excelling WHILST enslaved. The person who taught Charles Darwin Taxidermy was born a slave in Guyana also. The era of slavery is nothing to be ashamed of or turn our backs on, there are so many stories like this that need light shed on them.

Nicky Krystals then you don't buy it you don't drink it. It doesn't makes sense to me that black people would buy a brand that doesn't care about them that is not going to put back into their Community versus the brand that does not. I'm not a big drinker but it doesn't mean I don't appreciate the message that they're sending. So if people are going to keep drinking like they are I prefer they buy black so don't be a dick head just don't buy that's your prerogative and stay the f*** out of my comment
