@scottipippen6554 3 жыл бұрын
Obvious? He is talking nonsense at most here. If you have or have not the ball in your hands: if you are on the field, you can be fould and sent to the free throw line. Therefore Shaq wasn`t always in the game in crucial moments. Same will happen to Ben, if he keeps not working on his shoot..

@@scottipippen6554 to clarify what Kenny is saying. You can foul a player without the ball up until the 2 minute mark. Once the clock hits 2:00 and under, if you intentionally foul a player, who does not have the ball (Shaq and Dwight being centers, so they rarely have the ball) your team receives a technical foul I believe (details could be a bit off but I do remember it being a serious penalty) and so since Ben Simmons is a point guard who usually brings the ball up the floor, you can continue to foul him under the 2 minute mark, whenever he has possession of the ball

Yah arrested definitely means going to jail. Detained is the word.
@suntanironman
@suntanironman 3 жыл бұрын
That is not necessarily correct. An arrested person can be taken to jail. However, being arrested doesn’t automatically mean you are taken to jail. The two aren’t synonymous. For example, you can be arrested, questioned, and then released without ever going to jail (or without even leaving the location of the arrest). Or you can be arrested, taken to a police station and then be released without ever going to jail. You can be arrested and ordered to appear in count without actually being taken to jail. It’s possible to go through the entire legal process (including a trial and a verdict) without ever once setting foot in a jail.
@suntanironman
@suntanironman 3 жыл бұрын
Also, if you are handcuffed, you are almost certainly arrested (though not always, it sometimes depends). If you are “free to go”, that is considered as being detained. If you are handcuffed, you are almost certainly NOT free to go (and therefore arrested).
@MrSaibot420
@MrSaibot420 3 жыл бұрын
@@suntanironman yea but I’m sure dray was thinking of detained bcuz he said that the cops just handcuff them n take em outside but then release them. Nd I think it depends on how the other laws with police etc are, bcuz I been handcuffed n went to get questioned and after took me to jail. So here in Texas Dallas everytime if u asked am I being detained or arrested n if the say arrested then You’re getting locked up tbh. Idk what type of circumstances has to happen in order 4 u to be “arrested” and question being took in but then released later.

I really don’t get why Doc is agitated at us for acknowledging his all star point guard CAN NOT SHOOT. It’s obvious he refuses to really get on Ben about shooting. Which is clearly hurting the team because at the perimeter he’s nonexistent. When Lonzo came into the league his shot was pretty broken. But after years of working on it he’s shooting career high percentages.
