People say this and that about Kenny G, but he is ABSOLUTELY an incredible saxophonist. I bet if Charlie Parker were in the crowd, he’d say that guy can play! Nice! 😎🎷✌️

Essa banda do Kenny G marcou mt minha adolescencia, não existe Kenny G ao vivo sem esses 3 caras. Que banda mano. foram feitos um pra o outro. Muito clean. No começo eu achava ser a mix, dai vi que ao vivo esse é o som dos caras msm, é a afinação da batera, com o timbre perfeito do baixo, guitarra limpa, com o bom gosto do tecladista preenchendo tudo sem sujar. Essa banda pra mim é a referencia de bom gosto musical e timbre. se querem saber o som perfeito. Eles fazem.

Kenny Gorelick is on fire with soprano,alto and tenor sax-torches. I enjoy seeing him 'fight' in an unorthodox, down-to-earth, ghetto manner. Momentarily, I thought we were heading Christmas wards with that smooth, lullaby, patriotic-like song.

I dont care what any of the naysayers say. This dude is AWESOME. Try to play some of his songs well. Youll develope a healthy respect for the man! Hes one of the best ever in his own particular way. Hes got soul in his playing definitely! He also never uses a neckstrap with his soprano! THAT takes extreme strength to play well and not drop your horn due to arm fatigue. Hes a lot stronger than he looks! He possesses incredible discipline! He also uses that circular breathing technique better than ANYONE ive seen. Dude put on a clinic on how to play soprano! Hes a machine

@@BioBiro Probably has them MIDI'd together in "Odd and Even" mode, thereby doubling the maximum polyphony, or just layering them. Other keyboardist is using a Juno 106 MIDI'd to what looks like a Yamaha FB-01 module.

This is like having whipped cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner. KG is a great player, listed to Wizard Island by Jeff Lorber. But KG fell into a trap. Somebody once told me "I dont believe in Sanborn". I had no idea what he meant, but I get it now, it's how I feel about Kenny G (dont feel so about Sanborn, he has edge). Same with Michael Bolton and Tom Criuse. I dont like Tom Cruise movies, expect when he play bad guys, Rain Man and Collateral Damage. Problem with KG is, he abandoned the bad guy edge. Music is about telling stories, creating tension and release. This version of Kenny G had no tension, it's all candy. I get nausau, sorry.

Heinz Bauman He created music to be placed into the public eye to be recieved, reviewed and criticized by an audience. I have never done that, so therefore it is not my responsibility to create music simply for the right to listen to somebody elses and say whether I enjoy it or not. If every person who was critical of another artist's work was required to create music just to justify their negative criticisms, there would be no end to that process.
