Kenny Rogers was and forever wiil be my ABSOLUTE FAV country singer! Never knew he appeared in any films though😳😳! And what a great actor he turned out be as well!! This is truely a GEM I've stumbled upon!! I cried my eyes out the day I heard of his passing. RIP Kenny, you wil forever be remembered!!❤❤❤

I wonder if he liked singing or acting better. He was superb at both. I worked cleaning construction debris out of the stalls at his horse ranch in North Georgia when I was 15 years old.Part of the movie was filmed in my hometown of Acworth Ga.

As a very young boy my father made me a baseball player. I lived and breathed it. Years later as a grown man, we made a road trip. We listened to Kenny Rodgers song The greatest about 100 times ⚾️

Howdy Folks, Happy to hear all your respectful comments about Kenny Rogers. I share your feelings. I have a special reason for being sentimental about him. I’ll tell you why if you care to read on. Our first child, our daughter, was a cranky baby. Cried off and on, day and night. By the time I got home from repairing nets and boats at night, my poor wife was exhausted and it was my wheel shift. She would stay asleep as long as I held her, kept walking, and kept on singing, if you could call my croaking singing! I must have walked twenty miles every night! The only song I knew all the words to were THE GAMBLER, so that’s what I sang, hour after hour, night after night. Years later, riding in her Mom’s car with us, THE GAMBLER came on the radio. “Daddy,” my Daughter exclaimed, “ That man is singing your song!” I reckon Kenny wouldn’t have objected to me stealing his thunder. This stuff introduced Kenny Rogers to me some 35 years ago. I looked it up the other day and found out he died a couple of days earlier. Learned to appreciate his music, later on learned that I'd heard his Coward of the Country also very early on.

When Kenny got hit the # of times I could feel his pain, could sympathize with him when they took his son in the movie . The only thing I could think of was let his son be okay . I always have liked Kenny for the wonderful person that he was,still is even to this day . In more ways than ever I admire him, he would be my hero if I had the choice to make . We your fans love you Kenny so very much . I speak for all of them as well as for myself . Thank you for airing the gambler # 2 .

I have seen Kenny before as an actor. We miss a lot of good stuff in Australias and get a lot of crap. This is a great mini series. He is a great character actor and he has never done much in the way of acting which is a shame. I guess he was happy doing what he did and you cant blame a man for that!

As far as the songs that Johnny Crawford sung I love each,everyone . I was very glad to see him in the show rifleman series . He was later on in Hawaii 5-0. That program was wonderful as well . I am really truly honestly so sorry that Johnny Crawford has what he has . My sympathies to him,his family,friends .

@@lindataylor5704 Bobby Crawford was in Laramie the western,he was the other brother to Johnny Crawford. Johnny Crawford was the young boy who grew up,was in Hawaii 5-0. As far as I know Bobby passed away, then sometime later on Johnny Crawford died . Yes he did speak at Chuck Connors funeral. I also believe that both Bobby and Johnny Crawfords had made musical 🎼albums together as well. I sure really truly honestly don't know what Bobby died of . Johnny has a very beautiful wife,they were married over 40 years or more.

Really enjoyed this movie it has a good storyline as well as a great cast of actors and actresses which makes it worth the watch, my only regret is i didn't have any delicious Kenny Rogers Rotisserie chicken to enjoy with it.🍗😛🙄
