@@MartyMusic Besides all the teachings, Marty, MUCH RESPECT, because of your interview with Ed King of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Him talking about strawberry alarm clock, then meeting RVZ in a bar in NC. Then how it was RVZ talking the lyrics in Eds ear down at hell house. Describing how they would work there every day. I’m glad you showed that Drop D in there. Like you I play it with, and without. Just depends. Whenever in Drop D, you ever do a bend, and pull off on that 3rd fret F? Being it’s so low, that bend brings it up to that G, but then that pull off really brings out the low end. Saves me from sliding up.

Hi Marty, great channel. I have a question. I hear allot of guitarists talk about how important music theory is. Im not sold on the idea. I mean if im not gonna write or teach music do i need theory ? AND on top of that it's really hard to understand. Lastly will music theory make me a better guitarist ? Thanks for your time . Tim

Yes, Gibson J45 into a recording unit. Amp Power-off, mids-off, treble-off, gain-off, reverb-off, power on amp-off, power on power strip the amp is plugged into-off, overhead lights 550k heat temp, F-stop at 5.6 on a Sony A7siii.

Great lesson as always marty!! But riddle me this, why is there not ONE lesson on KZfaq breaking down that kick ass solo on electric guitar for this song???. I cant believe it there are lessons for every killer solo in the world it seems like EXCEPT this song? Blows my mind no one has broken that solo down into a good lesson yet. Just weird..just checking Marty mart.. still weird no solo??????????

I love your videos but you play to fast (even when you are playing slow) for me as beginner. It would also help if you displayed each chord on the screen as it is sometimes hard to see you finger placement.

I had the same problem when I was a beginner, you can hit the 3 dots and slow it down. Hope that helps 👍
