Losing the only RL Dad or RL Mum, is ALWAYS the most bitter and most painful Feeling. Nobody can fill this Hole in the Heart and in the Soul completely... But important is, Your Dad is in Heaven now, where He got all his Strenght, Health, and Power, and Youth back, so He feels good again, plus He is Re-united with all the Family Member that You and Him has lost in all the Years, and He is re-united with all his Friends too, which are already in Heaven. And that should be the Only Thing that matters, well...in MY Opinion =))). And missing Him and crying is Humane. t the BEST is, You will see Him again, and your entire Family and all Your Friends, also Your Animal Friends =))). Sent this last week to my bro in law. 2 1/2 yrs ago my sister was killed in motorcycle wreck 1 hr after signing papers on our Moms house who died 7mths before. So sorry for loss of your brother. I know its tough. Love this song, her husband looks like Kenny Rogers

I used to listen to Kenny when I was younger and sharing a flat with noisey housemates. His beautiful voice helped me drift to sleep at night ,drowned out the noise. Rip ❤

I doubt that. In today's music industry people would take one look at what Kenny Rodgers looks like and would ignore him. Did some of that happen back then? Sure. But nothing like today. I swear by looks alone there would be zero hits from Kenny Rodgers or Phil Collins. These are not what musicians are supposed to look like... They're supposed to be hip and dance also.

Losing my Mom 28 yrs ago was the hardest thing I ever gone through so far and she loved this song and loved Kenny Roger's. I still miss her just as much. My Mom was my best friend. Now my adult daughter is my best friend.

This song is in a Gospel Mix that I made a while back, simply because this is what happens when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He wipes your past clean, and He starts everything over with a clean slate. Yes, there are troubles, but they are so much easier to deal with when Jesus is decorating your life with so much stuff that the troubles are completely overshadowed by His love.
