Struggling to find catharsis after this terrible week so made this, dunno why really. Maybe someone will stumble on it someday and find some magic they didn't know existed, and get that feeling you get when you've discovered something really wonderful for the first time. Maybe they'll just think it's a load of noise and a bloke saying "Fuck off" at the end, but I suspect Tim wouldn't have minded either way.

Tim, if you came from a place beyond our current comprehension and tried to blend in so as not to scare us, you nearly pulled it off.

Blimey! I didn't want that to end. Thank you for putting that together and posting it. When I first discovered Cardiacs, it was like digging randomly and suddenly finding a treasure chest and I would suggest that the same thing happens to more and more music lovers every day. This man will definitely not ever be forgotten.

Probably the best out of all of the tributes that have come out this week at showcasing Tim's extraordinary charisma. Thanks.

@@chrisirregardless Well then, hats off to the angry and discontent people of the world. Those two qualities can be okay in certain situations, but it's best no to let them rule us. I did at one point, and it wasn't pretty. Now they're just a part-time gig.

Thanks for making this. My only criticism is that it is much too short...I was at the Maresnest and Falcon gigs and remember Jon nailing that Stoneage solo very well, although it’s the first time I have seen the footage.

Thanks, I agree it should definitely be longer, a short one was all I felt up to doing at the time! I'll probably go back and revisit at some point.

thank you. this is also a great reference for people starting to dive into cardiacs - i hadn't seen any tim interviews other than maresnest before now and now i have a starting point to look out for. and the only things i've seen from rotten shed are the song bits abcglobus posted, but now i know i need to watch the whole thing.

hiding some projection in the reply - one of the reasons i was so drawn to cardiacs was because i watched their seaside videos first, and tim's way of dancing to the music and his mannerisms really resonated with me as an autistic person who is really affected by music and might choose to 'dance' in unconventional ways (eg shaking his hands energetically to the drum bits and opening his mouth to the guitar notes in To Go Off, both of which I do sometimes). his ~idiosyncratic ways only add to that, i guess (although non-autistics *are* allowed to be quirky too, we passed legislation on it in 2006). anyways, my self-reflection is somewhat blurred by hyperfocus but it just feels really good to see even a tiny part of a tiny part of me killing it on screen and in my ears, being a talented hilarious genius and doing it with style.

@@user-ms8km7lh1l That's very sweet to read, Jillian, as another neuro-divergent musician and aspiring composer. I see a lot of myself in Tim as well, but of course our talents can not be compared, lol. His genius and quirk speaks to so many different people and I'm glad to not feel so alone when reading what you've said.

Wait! Where did you get that last interview? Is it in the Rotten Shed DVD? I think that's like the most recent footage you can see Tim speaking and I would love to see it in full.

That's my favourite clip! It is indeed from one of the interview bits in the Rotten Shed. I think Tim's warmth and charm really come through in that little moment, and it makes me do a big Cheshire Cat grin every time.
