This is how clients think when you model something. No thinking or mistakes needed just executed like this perfectly.

The making of the video was probably longer than the modelling and texturing, like wow, this is an insane video. Also don't misconstrued what I said, the model and texturing work is absolutely exquisite, but this video and the editing is also insane. I cannot fathom doing anything remotely similar, Props to you very very very nice!

Wow, this visual tutorial is a piece of art in itself. Beautiful presentation. Gotta be honest, it makes everything seem a lot simpler to accomplish than it is, but other than that, it perfectly portays the generation process of the model, and it gives you insights into various techniques on how to model. If not with the model itself, at last the background and it's construction makes you know, that a pro is at work here. This is truely one of the best and most appealing tutorials for 3D animation. Every university professor in the field should show this to the students!

@@Atmos_Glitch Honestly is a tutorial if you used to modeling just a little bit in Blender. At the end he is subdividing cubes, moving geometry by points, faces or edges, smoothing everything until gives all this result to the character. Maybe he isn't using more than 3 or 4 tools only for modelling. The concept here is stay watching another character modeling tutorials and practice a little bit.

Folds really just fall into categories of shapes. If you know what shape to form in which situation then folds are actually simple. If you look at 2D fold tutorials and then look at 3D real life reference, you can break down your reference into shapes and then model the shapes you see.
@MadLover4690
@MadLover4690 6 ай бұрын
Also, since this video is edited, we're not sure how the person achieved those folds, they could have used a cloth deformer, curves, any number of techniques to make things easier.
