And to beat em in the swamp makes it so much sweeter! .....then again, Kentucky should’ve won at the swamp a few years ago if the refs didn’t have their heads up their asses. Delay of game by almost 2 seconds not called. And stoops second half slow play AND A BULLSHIT holding call cost em another win last year. Technically stoops could, or SHOULD have 3 wins over Florida. But I’ll settle for one. Stick that streak up your ass gators. Welcome to football mediocrity, cuz your team is not very good. I’m talkin all this shit to make up for all the shit I’ve gotten from gator fans over the years.

Most excited I’ve ever been after a college football game. I have season tickets to Kentucky Football and saw the game last year and even though Kentucky lost, it was was one of the best games I’ve ever seen. This game was amazing and I’m excited to be a Kentucky fan right now

It's so hard as a UK fan to realize that we could have beaten the gators three times in a row. The two loses happen at home, in favorable conditions, but still fail because of mis-communication and bad calls.

As much as Kentucky had dominated this game, the score could've been a lot more without the penalties and turnovers. They were ROLLING Florida.

Everybody is jumping on the stoops bandwagon now. I’m so happy right now, I’ll even apologize for calling him #stupidstoops . but stoops late game play calling is questionable at BEST. You’re right. Kentucky should’ve won this game by 20+, but every time stoops has a lead in the second half he takes the foot off the gas and plays the clock. I’m overjoyed Florida can finally stick that streak up their ass, but stoops needs to learn to crush opponents instead of slow playin the second half and ‘escaping with the win’. With the east as weak as it is Kentucky has a chance to be in the sec championship game in the next few years. But stoops has to learn to put a game away. Fairly sure Every kentucky win over an sec has been single digits. They won this by 11 cuz of a freak final td. That said, GObigBLUE. no reason cats can’t have a top 10 football program too

DarthHeretic we’ll just have to disagree. He did better with this years game. Last year he played clock, not to mention the TWO td’s where the defense forgot to guard a receiver (how does that even happen) but he Still consistently tries to play the clock way way way way too soon when he has a second half lead. And he has a habit of mismanaging timeouts.

I always said, “when Kentucky finally beats us, I’ll be happy for them.” I wasn’t happy at first, because I felt the Gators didn’t play well. But now, after all is said and done, you guys had a great season, and I’m glad you stomped penn st. In your bowl game. So good job Kentucky, you finally broke the streak. See you guys next season, I hope it’s a good game.

I will NEVER get tired of these highlights. An overlooked play in this game was Josh Allen's pass defense on that 2 point conversion. This man is a complete stud and will be a 1st team All American. Stoops has shown a lot of balls sticking with Wilson this season but he gives us the best chance of winning because of what he can do with his legs. GO BIG BLUE!

I know a lot of UF fans have been and probably still will be cursing Mullen. As a LSU fan whose team has had to play him for the last 8 years, I wish we had him. It's going to take a year or two before it comes together, but when it does, it's going to be really good.

Gators are pretty good this year, but I see them improving in the next two. Glad the Tennessee and Kentucky steaks are gone and Gators can just play the games like any other going forward. Tbh, as a Gator fan, I’m pretty happy that Kentucky seems to be improving. The east needs more quality teams.

This Kentucky team feels different. Imma have to watch’em a little closer this year. I don’t really pay too much attention to the east outside of Georgia....but they got my attention.

Their defense is relentless and top notch. Have only allowed 60 points in 5 Sec games. Which is 12 points per game. Yes, this team is definately different.

So in the last 5 seasons, Vanderbilt, Georgia Southern, Missouri, South Carolina and now Kentucky have beaten Florida at the Swamp. Ten years ago I never would have believed that was remotely possible.

Although I am a Gator fan, I will have to congratulate Kentucky for finally beating us in 31 years. I know I'm am saying this in 2024 but I have been watching these highlights for the gators versus Kentucky throughout the day and throughout the years. Go Gators you guys got a couple on this now but congrats on finally beating us, because I was stunned after that game. Plus I was only 9 years old then so it was a tuff loss for me too lol.

Kentucky beat the Gators up. A stronger, more aggressive team. They were relentless when the opportunity arose. The score did not reflect the game. This was like pinning your life long bully to the curb and making him kiss your sneakers.

I was at the UK/UF game in Lexington a in 2017 when we had a decent lead going into the 4th quarter and lost by one &#$% point. Now we need to start our own streak against Florida, just like we have 5 in a row against South Carolina.

8:22: This play right here just basically made me believe that Florida deserved to lose. #20 was in motion, and when the play was snapped, Frank's rolled to his right where 20 was WIDE OPEN. What does Frank's do? Completely ignores the guy in motion and goes to his left with his receiver covered. From what it looked like, defense might have been in a zone formation, and 20 was under it the entire time, making it just a little lob over to make sure a defender doesn't slip out of nowhere, easy 2 points. No, Frank's goes to the receiver who was covered. On a play that looks designed to go to the right, you gotta look to your right for more than just a second.

Florida looks pretty bad. Their QB had some good series and throws but too many mistakes. I can't tell if Kentucky is for real but Snell is real solid at RB. Their QB looked good in this game as well. Not sure if Kentucky's D line is good or Florida can't block. Plenty of games left to see how it pans out.

Coming from a family of U.K. fans and a family of gators this is my least favorite game of the year. I was mad my gators lost but congratulations to Kentucky you were able to hold a lead and win in the swamp. That field goal was good the only good thing about the streak ending commentators will shut up about 1986.

Yeah, I'm a UK fan myself, that FG looked good to me. But that FG judge does have the best view. But they're only human, we got screwed over in 14', I guess it was UF's turn to get screwed. Although, the circumstances were a lot different.

I'm a georgia fan and I absolutely hate the gators but, in all fairness, the law of averages had to kick in eventually. I mean, come on, 31 in a row? Once Mullen gets his qb (or, you know, pretty much any qb that isn't terrible) florida will be rolling. And that fg was good
