Hi James, looks great with those flaps on Krystal. That should keep them from getting torn off. Don’t guess I’ve ever seen allen head bolts used on flap brackets before. Looks like they work well for that tho. You are probably dreading having to go back to work pretty soon. I usually don’t get much time off. My truck payments don’t stop so I owe I owe so off to work I go. Stay safe

If you use Cap Nuts on the inside of the mud flap it protects the threads from rust or thread damage and look wy better covering the threds. We use it on Gravel Trucks which tear off many flaps and the exposed bolts which are damaged or rust are a down time issue when a bolt is seized Cap Nuts

@@JamesPretty even if the bolts are to long use a reg nut and then cap the end with the cap not We also use connector nuts which are twice to three times the thickness of nuts and cover all the exposed threads on many situations also saves the threads

Hey James everything is looking great. I have had experience with those plastic mud flaps, after a while they tend to curl from the bottom outside corner with all the wind drafting from the tires

@@JamesPrettyanti-sail brackets are what you’ll need to prevent that, the flap weights won’t do the job. Spend the extra money for the stainless steel versions as opposed to the cheaper chromed items….
