May I add, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. The General was a God fearing man. To quote the later Paster Charles Stanley of Intouch Ministries, "obey God and leave the consequences to Him". Also, the Bible says, Matt>:6:33 "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS and all these other things shall follow you". Also, King David said in the Book of Psalms 37:23. " The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand. Vs24. I was your and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children beg for bread. Vs25 They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing." If anyone wants blessings then seek Him and seek Him with all your heart and you will find Him.

This young man's fortitude is ethereal. It is clear he had a very close relationship with his Dad which impacted him profoundly. To come to terms so quickly and have clarity of mind like he exhibits is almost beyond human. It is very possible that he has subconsciously postponed his mourning since he must be strong for his Mom and siblings. I pray for continued special grace upon him and family to bear this loss.
