He is not a swimmer. He was just flailing around, and got lucky the current carried him to a shallow part where he could stand up and wade himself out.

A very good one😎... how come you can't tell? hehehe... this amount and intensity of flowing water can carry vehicles, swimmers, and non-swimmers... only that for swimmers, when they get to a relatively still, but deep part, they'll swim to safety; that's what he does!
